Good morning folks, been reading thru having a catch up! Loving our new home was really pleased to see..who's idea was it?.

Thank you for my birthday messages :D
Well done to those that have weighed and lost..and next week for those that didn't ;).

Glad your fill went well julie.
And Neen, here's to your nice neat botty..did make me lol!! .

Well i start back at rosemary conely today and can't wait. Not having anything in my band is bad and my 1st fill can't come soon enough (17 days to go!!). I can eat anything and i am am trying to kerb my carbs and limit my bread. My portions are smaller for sure and i am eating off a small plate..so i am trying.

Questions though for you seasoned banders pls. I say i have no restriction BUT i do feel fuller on a smaller portion but i can feel every mouthful slip straight through the band..bit confused here lol(doesn't take much :D)...Also the dietician questioned my hunger feeling saying was i sure i was hungry from the pit of my stomach as a i shouldn't be..but i am..surely i still will be as my hungry bit is not removed as with other operations? does that go away when i hit my sweet spot? Think that's it for now..sorry!.

Will be back after taken kids to school and popped to the shops.

Hi Kelly xxx
You're full receptors are at the top of your stomach so they would only kick in and switch off hunger by the food remaining longer in your pouch.
Because you don't have enough restriction yet, the full sensors are not going to be triggered because food is able to go down through the stoma fairly easily at the moment.
In the meantime , I would try and fill up on veggies at meal times to help the hunger problem without ruining your efforts before you get that good restriction in place.

Just wanted to remind you all that we are switching to this thread

Oh I thought you meant I was not being supportive AND just moderating

Thats ok then x

Sam and I work full time and Tes is studying full time at the moment. Luckily I can get on during breaks etc in the day ;)

Afternoon :) ...
what a lovely morning we have had here, dull now though,

Well we have a little visitor in the garden eeeeekkk ..... a rat a rat! .. now pet rats i love but eeek this little critter has such an attitude!
it just flounces down the path along the wall and does what it feels!
so ive been out and swept and moved everything! Ive rung the council and they charge £36 to come out BUT they fully booked for the next 2 weeks !! .. drawback to living in the country haha ...

Hope everyone having a lovely day :) xx

we have 2 guinnea pigs and im worried about putting them out! .. they are nervous enough as it is without being bothered by Roland!

Might be good to have a look online for a trap then hun :S
Maybe there's something you can use to get rid of the unwanted one before you put the fuzzies out.
They are really brazen though (getting the collywobbles)
Maybe just continue to keep everything as clean and minimalist as you can outside , (brush up and douse the paths etc with hot soapy water & detol etc) he might move on if there's nothing to eat or hide in
