kelly, got hold of 7 day kick start for SW...not sure if you have it....but it looks ok.....just tyring to get my head around it....so much food, i think i will struggle to eat it...*LOL*

You are contributing a lot ! I have definately been inspired to try harder with my exercise after reading your posts and you are giving us your time and effort by being here daily and chatting with us.
You must get out of the habit of dismissing yourself and realise that you are worthy and valuable and helping all of us by being our friend and fellow bander.

So no more of that negative stuff..I know you are struggling with getting results you want but you are doing fantastic and you must try to now think more positive. xxxx

To be fair I hadn't thought much about the exercise. I was thinking more about the weightloss side of things because ultimately thats what we're here for.

It frustrates me a little that successful banders don't post anymore or those getting results aren't sharing their techniques/strategies (Emm28 - I'm talking to you!! :whoopass: :p) although ultimately it's up to them to comment and/or share. Although it's nice to share when the times are good as well as when the times are bad.

I can tell you what I'm doing exercise-wise until the cows come home but the scales aren't going down. :eek:

While we're on the subject- exercise yesterday:
40 minutes Rosemary Conley fitness class

Resistence (muscle building) work

CHEST:

Dumb bell chest press - 4 sets of 15 reps

That said .. I'm pleased to announce that my scales still say 288.6Ibs which isn't bad given the weekend of self-pity I had. It was nice to see I stayed the same.
 
cc---- it like I said...i reckon you are building muscle and that is why you aren't "getting anywhere" as you say. but I bet if you measure yourself you will see the changes...try and give it ago.
 
I have to say CC, that I felt I have let you down especially... with my stupid eating on the weekend I have not really done my bit and backed up much of what I have said in terms of trying to give support and advice.
I hope that I can buck my ideas up and show you that we have some good info gathered between us here and it does work when we put all our info together x

I do measure myself periodically ... my measurements haven't changed. Still a 46" waist :eek: etc. etc.

How can you say that? Your eating is your eating. You can't hold yourself responsible for MY eating. How can you feel YOU'VE let ME down? Of course you haven't.

My statement above was a general one although I did name one name (as I felt I needed to be honest). I would like help, strategies and advice. Sharing and caring .... if fellow banders are losing I want to know what they are doing to lose simples! :D I'll be less inclined to help, sympathise, empathise and support if all there is is whinging but no sharing .... simples again. ;) (oh and I'm less likely to congratulate when times are good .. sorry but I'm a hard cow like that! :cool:)
I'll try my best to share hence my exercise posts .. unfortunately my food posts are no good because I'm not losing per se.

LOL you are a silly billy at times. Don't you dare feel bad. I ate like a pig because I was vex with myself and lack of weightloss. I hope I can continue the trend downwards rather than upwards.:rolleyes:

NO WAY have you let anyone down hun:eek:, get that idea right out of your head;):p, someone who helps banders in the way you do like starting this thread/post takes a lot of time and you help ppl probably in ways you dont imagine, You certainly helped me along the way just by reading info or putting it down in this form etc....Your a little trooper and I am sure cc and others will agree. x x

Awe tyvm cc xx - at the end of the day us banders are all here to share info, give advice (if we can) and talk about our ups and downs and be there for each other. I know everyones doing their own journey etc. But I have come across such lovely ppl in this forum and there is hardly an ill feelings which I think is gr8 :D:D
 
Cheers girls , I mainly feel like a hypocrite and weak as well as a total let down to myself for anihilating any good I do in the week by being such a peeeeg on the weekend.
BUT I am going to start this weekend by treating everyday the same so that there is no bingefest any more.
I hope that I can get back to losing because although I have lost half of my weight, I think I need to show me and everyone else struggling that we can get right the way down.
I can't keep saying that if I am not doing it myself , which is what I meant xxx

Ok I'm here!! You lovely ladies have talked me down off the ledge and I am making some commitments right here and now....you ready?

  • 30 minutes a day moving...even if its just step on the wii
  • 2.5 litres of water a day...I'm so bad at fluid intake
  • NO MORE KITKAT CHUNKIES
  • Sticking to no fluids 30 mins before or 60 mins after
Thats enough for this week...I'll be on here annoying you I promise lol:D
