Hope you have a lovely time at the Theatre .... .... "any dream will dooooooooo......" (hoping not to cause rain  :D)

Hope your appointment went well today / or will go well today CC

Rache that's fantastic xxx Well done x

I weighed today and have lost 5lbs since Tues but I was 3lbs heavier than the week before on Tues plus with period in full go....argh...and I am 222lbs because of all the up down and staying the same so I still can't change my damn stinking ticker

Hey Neen, 5Ibs is fantastic no matter what way you look at it!!! :wow: :0clapper:

You can't be hard on yourself. So I'm going to say jolly well done girlfriend!!!! :D

As for my appointment ... it was ok - thank you for asking - I'm due for another fill end of November. :)

Thanks love x I am wound up like a little springy doughball at the moment. Dean did good too, he lost 4lbs since Tues and has been having slightly more calories than me.
I have been struggling to keep stuff down a bit this week as I have been nervous about today

you've done so well. 5Ibs is 5Ibs!!!!!!

what is causing you so much anxiety?

Ive booked in to see the bariatric nurse on 29th. I was supposed to go back a while ago but couldnt fit an appointment in.

Going to get her to check if I still have 6 mils in or if some more has gone  I dont think it has but better to be sure!

Im going to hopefully get another fill to so that I can shift a bit more weight and then start thinking of maintaining!

Would be good to get to goal before my two years, although I have lost over 80% of my excess weight it would be nice to show that a bander CAN lose 100% of their excess weight in two years.

Do you think its do able?

Answers on a postcard :D

Further to this post 2 days ago! - thanks for your reply CC :D

I really would appreciate some help or support!

Who knows maybe I might have sprung a leak? Hopefully it will be ok - but ...............................

Oh and by the way I lost 2lbs in the last fortnight

2Ibs? Thats really good considering you're so close to goal. Woo hoooo!!!!! :woohoo: well done.

I really hope you do it within two years. I think you will.

Have you lost a little restriction? May be you've lost it through natural osmosis? The top-up will help I'm sure :hug99:

Thanks CC! I do indeed 'need' support x

I dont know if you have read my diary but basically at my last fill I had 2 + mils less in than expected, so yes Im concerned but Im sure it can be resolved.

Thanks again!

Really? I hadn't read that. Did they explain why that should have been so? Or did did they say you were not to be overly concerned?

2mls is a lot but it may just be osmosis.... especially if your fill was a long time ago. As far as I know banders will always have to have top-ups for as long as they have the band in even when they are maintaining.

Lets remain positive. You do need support and I will support you as will the others. You're obviously disciplined and this in itself has carried you thus far ... if you continue on with your mental strength rather than what the band is doing i think you can make it - I reckon you could make it without the fill to be honest.

Thanks CC - they 'thought' the loss could of been due to my 2 operations in the 6 months between fills, maybe the gasses during anesthetic dispersed some of it, they said.

So no not a long time between but I had avoided a fill so that I wouldnt need a defill because of the op's (one very major). Then trying to get back on track I find I have 2+ less than I thought. Hopefully everything will be ok!

Thanks again x

I went to bed last night with port pain .. possibly due to me eating a little more than I should've. Today I still have some port pain. Anyone else get this? I'm currently drinking coffee, not had anything to eat yet - not hungry. I'll have my multi-vitamins in a minute though.

Doh I thought I replied to you! My imagination is so vivid lol.

Not sure that the gas explanation is a credible one but what do I know? Seems that having a major op with a gastric band is a no no - J.u.s.t.L.i.z went through something similar? I do with surgeons would take care! Anyway I'm assuming the two are linked and you and Liz have the some problem, but you probably don't.

Would it be out of your character to demand a new barium meal procedure thingy? No point in constantly topping up your band if it has sprung a leak. 2mls in the grand scheme of the world isn't a large amount. May be the op gasses DID disperse the band juice - who know. Please be sure to have them check how much is in there before you are filled. If you've lost a significant amount again I'd say that there is a problem. Would you qualify for reparation via the NHS?

just had 1/2 a bowl of soup an had one smell prawn dumpling ... th dumpling came back up. obviously tight today. hhmmm.

i'm a bit bored today. billynomates lol. may go to body combat later
