Doh I thought I replied to you! My imagination is so vivid lol.
Not sure that the gas explanation is a credible one but what do I know? Seems that having a major op with a gastric band is a no no - J.u.s.t.L.i.z went through something similar? I do with surgeons would take care! Anyway I'm assuming the two are linked and you and Liz have the some problem, but you probably don't.
Would it be out of your character to demand a new barium meal procedure thingy? No point in constantly topping up your band if it has sprung a leak. 2mls in the grand scheme of the world isn't a large amount. May be the op gasses DID disperse the band juice - who know. Please be sure to have them check how much is in there before you are filled. If you've lost a significant amount again I'd say that there is a problem. Would you qualify for reparation via the NHS?
Liz's band was damaged whilst having her tummy tuck - my op was gynea so they didnt have to go anywhere near my stomach.
Usually prior to surgery a slight de fill (although some providers would say complete) is advised but because I hadnt had one for so long I didnt bother.
Yes I have allready asked them to take everything out again
Im sure it will be ok, I wouldnt qualify under the NHS for any repairs Im sure of that
