:welcome:

Well please stay around xxx

Hope you enjoyed the thread Marie xxx Stay posting and we can help you along x

P.S. Ironically - my band has been not restricted much today. I've had some restriction, but I've been eating for England today ... I've been tired achey and gannet-like.

So I have to go to the gym to redress the balance :(

Still don't know how to use 2nd Life ... the graphics are shocking!:eek:

Ive booked in to see the bariatric nurse on 29th. I was supposed to go back a while ago but couldnt fit an appointment in.

Going to get her to check if I still have 6 mils in or if some more has gone  I dont think it has but better to be sure!

Im going to hopefully get another fill to so that I can shift a bit more weight and then start thinking of maintaining!

Would be good to get to goal before my two years, although I have lost over 80% of my excess weight it would be nice to show that a bander CAN lose 100% of their excess weight in two years.

Do you think its do able?

Answers on a postcard :D

Hello fellow banders , wondered if I could pick all ur brains (lol) as most of u know I already have 3 mils in 7 mil band, when I go back in 2 weeks for another fill, do they just add to wot I have in already or do they withdraw all wots in the band too make sure I still have the original 3 mil in the band or do they start again from scratch (i.e take it all out and put a fresh lot in the 3 mils plus wot ever fill they give me ).......??

Cant really answer this 100% as everyone will have had a different experience. I dont think they usually empty the band before a fill unless there is a reason too.

Mazza

Is the Pope a Catholic?

You've done wonderfully :worthy:

I think you can do it no problems!! Imagine you've done all your work on only 6mls .. amazing. I'm so excited for you :bliss:

Good luck with your fill :)

I agree with Mazza, everyone is different. My nurse doesn't withdraw before she adds more fluid. She tests 'me' by asking me to drink some fluid following the adjustment so make sure my restriction is there.

Cheers CC

Thanks CC - I did most of it on just a few mils. Ive got a 9 mil band so not one of the biggest and have only really been getting more fills in the last year. Maybe if I'd of had more in earlier I would have been at goal by now - or I could of been too tight and throwing up constantly!!!!

Who knows x

You've ogt it sussed. You're very strong mentally!

I've been slow on my fills and I too think that if I'd been more proactive on my fils I'd be around 18/19 Stones now. Hey ho ... not to worry.

Indeed you've helped me so much more than you know in the last few weeks. I think I'd not have lost the few pounds I had done had you have not mentioned certain things a few weeks ago.

Within 2 yrs 100% of your excess weight ... can you do it? Hell yes I really think you can! :worthy:

Good night ladies (I'm presuming there aren't any male banders about).

I hope you all had a good day today?

I've had a bad day food wise, my eating has been terrible!!
I went to the gym today to redress the balance a little (only a little as the eating was that bad!). I'm shattered I'm not a fan of Body Combat release no. 45 - too much jumping lol.

Anyway as I said earlier ... tomorrow is another day and all we can do is take it day by day.

take care and I hope we can inspire a lil more tomorrow. x

You are right CC .......today is over and you can do better tomorrow.....good luck hun and at least you did some exercise and thats got to help XX

Morning people,

This thread has dropped off the radar. Where is everyone (living a life probably lol)?

I've an appointment at Surgicare today.

I hope you're all OK and life is getting in the way rather than there being any problems. As Neen says "WE CAN DO IT TOO!!" ... so if you're struggling share it so we can help or just sympathise :grouphugg:

Good morning lovelies. Its beautiful here today, sun is shining. :) Well I had my six month surgiversary the other day and took my stats!! After all I've eaten recently I was expecting the scales to crucify me. I've lost three and a half stones and 28 and a half inches and am down four dress sizes!!! How fab is that?!?! On the food psychologist front am in touch with hospital, they even called me back miracle of miracles. Unfortunately I wasn't in so they left a message and I'm to call back on Tues to arrange an appointment with him!! Nice to have some good news. Well am off to the theatre today to see a musical :) (sisters birthday treat) so y'all have a fantastic day xx

Hi Rache,

You are obviously doing something right! WHat an amazing achievement ... 3.5 St and 4 dress sizes in six months??? :wow: :wow: :0clapper:

Have fun at the theatre! Please let us know what yo're going to see :)

Well done again :D
