Life has been throwing me a curve ball of late.... it's something that happens 2-3 times a year so I know it will pass I just have to ride the wave. I struggle to post when I'm bad as I'm so negative and that's not what this thread is about so I glean the positive where I can and wait for it to go before posting again.
It is now going slowly but surely so I'm BACK!!!!!!
Following a recent bout of poorlyosity I had my tooth out Friday.... what an experience!!! an hour in the chair and one very bruised and battered mouth....it's been good for my eating though. Not able to eat much and it's uncomfortable to eat when I do so it's taking me a while to get through a meal.
Up date on psychologist - spoke with Cov Uni hospital and their psychologist has a one year waiting list. However due to me having so many problems previously at the hosp the lovely dietician there is going to see if I can get the next available cancellation. So watch this space, it's a move in the right direction.
As for Heartlands, I had my app with dietician there and despite being constantly hungry even though following all the guidelines I am not allowed another fill yet.
This has not gone down well and yes I have been licking my wounds a bit. I will put into practise what she has asked and give it the two weeks she suggested.
I have been given very mixed messages on some points so wondered if others had any guidance. In my pack it states to drink up to half hour before food and half hour after.
Now when I last went to see dietician I was told I could drink up to eating though not for half hour after. This helped me lots so I have been doing this.
Last week I was told again to not drink half hour before eating, such conflicting advise is enough to mess with anyone's head. I did mention what previous dietician had said and I was told under no circumstances to follow this.
What have you all been told please? I'd rather go with the majority now I think.
So that was my week in a nutshell.
Hope you are all well xxx
