Cheers Dotty x Yeah I am finding them surpisingly filling..especially the melba toast...you have teeny little bits of it , 75 cals a pack of 6...and I thought "Humph...like this is going to do anything useful"
But yeah suprisingly they do the trick.

Hi everyone - hope all is well

As for the beefcakes - "Come to MaMa Marcus" LoL - he is delish - defo good enough to eat..Ha Ha - Ty for the encouragement for the fill this coming Friday Neen and I am hoping it makes all the difference as my restriction is virtually gone now . :-((

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......sigh
My daughter says euw you see his ribs, how can you find that nice?!?!?!

I have work to do on converting one's daughters taste into something respectable!!!!

Jayney! So brilliant to hear about your plane experience first off...it's wonderful to feel natural and normal...little things like that really bring it home to you how much you are physically changing in a way that weighing yourself just can't do so well done!!! Hope you are back to normal with food soon xxxx

I have lost 8lbs in total in the last 2 weeks so this calorie counting and low fat business works pretty good so far. I also have had my treats on the weekend so I feel pretty optimistic so far...we shall see what happens this week I guess!
It really helps doing the diet with Dean so I recommend getting a diet buddy as it keeps your focus x

Rache, I am glad you came back to fill us in ...I have a few good hypnosis things...one for emotional eating, so let me know if you want me to share it with you as I would love to try and help you while you wait for some official support.

Hope we will all have a great week and Candy, Julie and Kat...lots of luck with your fills girls xxxxx

Big hugs x

Thanks Neen I would really appreciate your hypnosis help, every little helps so they say. xx

Feeling hungrier this week...and soooo cold ! It's really hard to exercise when it's so chilly.
We are going to watch some more Biggest Loser to get us shamed onto the treadmill and rowing machine again!!
I have been using melba toast and light dutch crispbakes for lunch with a bit of light philadelphia and light choices (Tesco) ham...crikey that definately get's lodged in the pouch really well and has saved me a lot of calories during my new eating plan....just wanted to pass that on!

Can I ask Neen I was told by the dietician that the thin oatcakes and melba toasts I've been having with a light spread on are no good as they are crumbly like biscuits. I was told to have either crispbread or ryvita.... have you ever heard of this? I was gutted as I love the melba toasts and the thin oatcakes.

I think go with what suits you, be different if these dietitians actually HAD bands as then they would know that no two of us are the same with regard to what fills us up, or what we can tolerate.
If you find the melba toasts and oatcakes are satisfying and filling, then I should continue to have them.
You also have to use healthy foods that you actually like or you are not going to be able to consistantly eat well and stick to the healthy plan.
You do not want to be forcing yourself to eat stuff you don't like as you are going to end up saying "Oh s~d it!!!" and go off and have something REALLY unhealthy because you feel deprived.
I know Mazza has melba toasts and look how good she has done!!!

Am ok thanks Neen, still got raging pain in my mouth from the extraction last week. Went to see him again on Monday and he was chuffed to bits with how I'm doing, he said I'd had an operation!!! I knew it was a bigger job than he'd anticipated but blimey. Still in alot of pain so he gave me more antibiotics and more than doubled my pain relief.
Then Monday night my mum went and broke her foot slipping on a stone. what a week. Why is my life one drama after another?
Anyway, dentist packed my tooth hole with some foul smelling and tasting stuff and it's making all my food taste horrid so no surprises i'm not eating as much as I would normally, and eating is pretty painful too which is also offputting.
Can't wait to start feeling better again.

Oh lordy Rache! No wonder you're fed up at the moment.
I hope very much you'll feel back to normal soon darling x
I know how hard it is to separate the emotional problems from food intake...everytime my kids do something horrible ..(especially my youngest who is very aggressive still) I immediately want to plough through the cream cakes...or anything I can lay my hands on.

Poor Mum too, hope she is recovered as soon as possible :(

This icky patch is going to pass , just try and look ahead..maybe find something nice in a size smaller than you currently wear so you can try it on once a week till it fits.
I do that with pairs of jeans..it really helps boost the mood as they get easier to put on ..and then when they suddenly fit well..that is a really fab boost x

Hi Rache - I know you asked Neen but I thought I would add my two penneth ;)

I have the very thin melba toasts which are 49 calories for 6 (morrisons eat smart or whatever their healthy eating stuff is called) and I can only manage 4. They are not like biscuits at all are they? I have crispbreads occasionaly but I dont really like their texture. I do like ryvitas especially the ones with seeds on - BUT they are more calories and I can only manage two.

Not sure on the oatcakes, maybe they are more biscuity  Im sure you allready have but check the fat content on them - maybe thats what they mean.

I agree Mazza, if something is low fat and low calorie and filling, then it has to be a good thing to eat...especially if as I said, it's something you like.
We have to choose things that encourage us to keep the healthy options going long term.

I just wanted to wish Caz, Kat and Julie good luck for their fills in the next couple of days and also good luck with the defill today Claire :)
Hope everyone is doing allright x

Good morning all, how is everyone?
Neen, I'm also having a hungry week, I'm taking more fluid to try and fill me up, I agree that the cold weather doesn't help. I've just had a look at yours and Mazza weight loss, you have both done amazing and are really inspiring.
Julie is your fill tomorrow? Good luck and I hope it helps you get restriction.
Rache I hope both you and your mum are feeling better soon.
xx

Mornin' all. Having a bad few weeks at the moment. Can't stop eating choc!! However not eating much else either apart from slimfast shakes so I am hoping not to have put on weight when I weigh tomorrow. Anyway good news is I have started to use the cross trainer. Not sure who it is good news for but never mind. I am off to do some Christmas shopping this morning - yes I know it's still November but I have to be organised. First "Christmas" event is the 4th Dec when we have 10 people coming for dinner most of whom are going to be staying. So I am going to be well ahead of the game (hopefully!!). Hope you all have a good day.

You poor thing Rach, I hate the dentist with a passion! It sounds like you are having a terrible time, I hope the pain killers he has now given you might help.
Good luck to everyone whos having fills and de-fills this week, wouldnt it be great if they could de-fill our bodies of fat :D .......maybe one day! XX

Morning Girls!
Sarah I think the cold has a lot to do with the extra hunger...probably some instinctive thing..I expect I'll be driven outside later by an overwhelming need to bury snickers bars in the garden for later.
I am going to try some homemade tuna pate stuff later, I think I saw a recipe for some tuna mixed with philadelphia to make a dip or pate in Rosemary Conleys book...or something similar.
Sounds like it might do the trick on some dutch crispbakes at lunch time...plus I will do that tuna tip for myself again as I ate more than I wanted to yesterday.
Not so much that I went over my calorie allowance but more than I wanted to in the evening.

Archiesmum...yeah this time of year I automatically think scrummy food...hmmm..I have two baskets going on Tesco online...one for the Christmas party and one for Christmas week....lots of sinful stuff going in those!!!
I am trying to take the special occasions as something to enjoy as and when but behave more virtuously the rest of the time.
Don't want to obsess about it, just enjoy the day of indulgence and get back on the program after with no guilt and no fuss.
The guilt makes you continue to indulge.

Just keep looking forward I think, and don't dwell on days where you have been more nibbly...I think we just are hungrier some days than others quite naturally...hopefully your cross trainer will help even things out for you x

Hi Jacqui...yeah hopefully poor Rache will feel better asap...got the hypnosis uploaded now finally so I can dispense that to whosoever wants it.
A fat defill would be fab yeah!! I could stand to drain off a few gallons from each cheek.

Ty sarah - Yes it is tomorrow - and I am praying it works this time, I hardly have any restriction at all..Hope some hasnt gone awol and I have sprung a leak somewhere. :-(
