Course you will be Tb , there is no reason why you wouldnt be, and as for the "normal meals" as u put it ,you will learn to adapt and that will become your way of "normal" way of eating hun and before u know it you wont know any different . Wishing u all the best hun xx

LoL - I must have missed a post or something because I read ur earlier post and it stated that you done one week of liquids and got another too go, so presumed it was pre op ( didnt think too look at ur date of op LoL ..................What I miss lmao

It is easy to get confused. My provider has some odd rules and after a fill you have to go back on 2 weeks liquid then 2 weeks purée. Since my op I have done 4 weeks liquid, 4 weeks purée had a fill and back on liquids again. That is why I have not really had the chance to test the band on a usual intake of food. It will come soon enough.

I am coping ok so far. Loss is very slow but I had a few complications following the op including a 9 lb gain with all the stuff pumped into me and the trauma. It took a long time for this to go and nearly finished me off. I am not focussing on the scales at all just getting through the various stages and going by how my mobility improves and my clothes feel. I will measure my progress from what they tell me at my appointments at the hospital. I am still off work because of the complications so once I am back to work and doing normal everyday things it will be interesting to see how I cope.

Hi everyone, just had my band op yesterday. Arrived home at 12.15pm and still got trapped wind but hopefully it will ease off soon!
Op went well and I'm really excited to be starting my new life!!
Have got a feeling I'm going to be sick of soup in a few days time though!! The ted stockings are just super sexy too!!

Welcome to the thread and both of you good luck with your upcoming ops not long for either of you now.

To all other thread users happy Tuesday for tomorrow!!! Hope your journeys are continuing in a positive and upbeat way.xx

I'm losing steadily now, walking two miles a day four days a week and yoga on the friday so aching to beggary all weekend lol. No pain no gain so they say.
Eating has it's moments, some days I find I'm great and others I'm bad. tonight I ate through boredom, I knew I was doing it and still didn't stop myself. I now have an appointment with the food psychologist, got to wait until April for it but better late than never. It's that grotty totm feeling coming up where the old sweet tooth is going haywire!! It's been particularly bad the last couple of months. Oh well another day tomorrow. I'm not going over 1500 cals so the damage could be much worse, still need to get some control over it.

Off to bedski now, dont feel like I've stopped today been reet busy
