I had 80g protein today. 36g was from the costa skinny latte. The thing about the lattes though is they can clock uo caloriea.
My dietician at hospital advises to aim for 60g protein a day. However if u r very early post op dont stress about it as our bodies have plenty protein reserve

The thing I worry about is that I am so fussy. I don't eat fish of any kind not even tuna. The only veg I eat are pea's, runner beans, broccoli, salad except tomatoes, don't eat cheese apart from philidelphia herb and dairylea lol. I get stuck on things to cook I do all the cooking from scratch nothing pre packed. Meat I eat a lot of chicken but usually in bread crumbs or batter or some coating or sauce. So I am unsure of what to eat after the op. I do like oxo cubes and eggs. What food do you get protein from? I know very sad if only I didn't like all the nice things I wouldn't be in this mess now lol.
I do like fruit too most fruits anyway.

Any help appreciated thanks xx

Chicken is very versatile. Look up chicken casseroles and pot roasts. Most of those will be okay from soft stage. You might find the mushy stage more difficult.
