How is everyone doing? Bakedbean, I am through nosc with a spatz balloon and the aftercare has been amazing. They call on the button every week, have sent multiple medications out due to complications. They have been wonderful.

Hey Nicky, getting on grand. In my usual way, I loose, flat line and then loose again. 2 lbs off the three stone mark. Getting there. I am so glad I have the extra 6 months with the spatz. Pretty positive about it and believe it was money well spent. How are you getting on?

Hi all
Doing good here .. Have been stuck in the doldrums for a fortnight but I seem to be finally getting over them now.
I have achieved my under 21st goal which leaves me just another 13lbs to go until I hit the magic 50BMI which I am required to reach before I can get the bypass, all things going well. So far that is a 6st8lb loss I have achieved so I am feeling quite pleased with myself .
Oh and my CPAP pressure as been turned way down from an incredible pressure of 17 to 7!!! Got a new mask too as my old ones just couldn't be tightened up any further.. I never realised that my face had lost sooooo much weight off it hahaha.

Another 3lb loss to add to the other 2lb loss this week
Just realised too that not only am i reaching my 50BMI goal set by the surgeon but I am also nearing my first 100lb loss .... Gobsmacked!

WOO HOOO!!!!!! Go Femfrankie!!!!!!!!! You are putting me to shame. My birthday tomorrow. Made a cake death by chocolate! and am heading out for lunch today!!! But do you know what? For the first time in so long, I am looking forward to it as I have loads of things to wear. Normally about this time, I would be curled up in tears because I would not have anything I would fit into. Today, I have options!!!!

We are getting there girlies, we will succeed.

WTG Rose & thank you that's just a tad over 3st since the balloon was put in 3 and a bit months ago. So despite the problems it has brung I am really quite happy. Measured my waist this morning too and have lost a further 1 & half inch there too ... That's a 7inch loss in total ...

Well done to Femfrankie and rosemcsnose. You've both done really well. One week out and recovering from the surgery but am starving. I expected to get hungry again but not quite so soon!!

Hi TT I'm 12 days out n today i don't feel like I've got a balloon I've eaten all kinds I really have gone daft!!! I've got salmon out for tomorrow though and hoping this blow out is enough to feed the food demons!!! Lol did your balloon settle quick?? Mine did I wonder if that's part of it

I was the same!!! Still am!
I over done it yesterday for the first time and was just uncomfortable!!!! That's all!
Would have loved to be sick coz I felt crap!
But nothing effects me. In a way it's good coz when it comes out I will be used to refusing to overeat so that will work in my favour! I'm down almost three stone since having my balloon put in! Will be getting it out in September coz I'm away in August! So will have it in for 7 months total.

Hi did you have a spatz balloon? My procedure is on the 27th July. How long have you had it in? And how successful have you been if you don't mind me asking. Look forward to hearing your stories and advice!

It's just so hard isn't it!!!!
I'm sick of exercise and lack of food n all that! Haven't quite found my waggon yet to get back on!!!! I'm being semi good but it's killing me!!!!
I need my wind back to blow me back down that hard working road

I have the Orbera balloon which is not refillable like the Spatz and is only institu for 6months. I have had mine for three and a half months now and if it wasn't for me having a hiatus hernia/ reflux it would have been pretty plain sailing tbh. I have lost nearly 50lbs with it so far although things are now starting to slow down a little. :-/
