Sadly my trumps am have gone now! But still burping - I can do most of the percussion now for Toccata and Fugue!
Yesterday was day 10. Late again!!!! I am sleeping between 6/8 hours a night. If I wake early now it's the dog not discomfort! All meds no worries - seem immune now to the jabs! I am even oblivious to the Dalivit - though the smell is vile! Did the ironing yesterday, changed all the bedding, mowed the lawn and went to sainsbury's. Popped in to see a friend on way home and all was fine. Showering, self care, and using the loo is all fine. No issue at all. Food - milky coffee and marvel at breakfast time, 400ml of soup for lunch and I added whey protein, dinner was a Fortimel 20gm protein shakes for 200ml liquid. Supper was a mug of stir and serve soup. Endless tea and coffee and 1.8L water. All ok. That's 10 days of updates. As it's consistent now I am only going to journal anything that deviates! The pain in day 1-2 was not nice. Honestly day 3 onwards after getting home and getting a stack of sleep day 2-4 was the big change. No sickness since day 3. No pain meds since day 2. GP allowing me to drive from day 6 was a boost and a decent walk each day I feel has had a positive impact - I did 10,400 odd steps yesterday. I am still inflated and feeling bloated. But it's getting slowly less. Wounds not long have any scabs. All now just red lines. Slightly raised and no longer itching! My burp and trump phase has abated! I haven't deviated from the instructions of my team and stick to fluids. I do crave texture and taste but currently I am winning that head battle. I don't feel hungry particularly. I don't struggle now with liquids though I don't gulp as that's not a nice feeling! I am having now between 700-990 calories a day via liquid. The all milk coffees twice a day providing a third of that I guess. Adding marvel/whey protein helps me get to 60gms protein each day. My only issue I guess is bland fatigue. I am a bit fed up with no variety and bland food. But it's doing a good job as it's making me less excited about meal times and more interested in the nutrition everything provides. I've no idea if this will ingrain in my pea brain. I hope it does for many reasons. Back to snoozing now ! ?
Well day 11 post op. Meds fine. No pain. No discomfort. No loo issues. Can drink lashings of liquids blah blah blah. Wounds are all super good. I do have funny random issue. One of the 3 wounds in the crease of my belly has popped a stitch out. Weird to look at! GP can sort on Tuesday! Take a peak

No itching or discomfort
I can sleep on back or either side - no issues.
So what revelation for today? Without a doubt today I have felt hunger. Not gnawing agonising feel faint hunger. But definitely hunger. I've not acted upon it other than to up my drinks but it's there.
I am worried how 2 more week of liquids will work if I am already hungry!
That's the only anomaly for the day

Debs. Cutting down on carbs can help control the hunger Having the likes of the cauliflour cheese soup broccoli and Stilton soup and maybe a couple of Ufit protein drinks which are not too high in carbs helped me. If I am taking in any more than 50 carbs a day it plays havoc with my blood sugar levels and the hunger and craving are the Pitts
Morning Debs, is there any reason you cant have 2 soups ? Cant stand protein drinks myself I gag on them.
They really do look strict, though my stage 1 can take 4 weeks I can try my puree from midnight lol
