Sorry to hear it's been postponed. I have my pre-op consult tomorrow I really hope I get the green light as I don't think I could cope otherwise. But if it does get cancelled I think I'll also be a gastronomic terrorist for the next couple of weeks.
 
Sorry to hear yours got cancelled jo.

Mines friday gotta be in london for 730 so rather than getting the train at 630 we are staying in a hotel at hyde park Thursday night and going to winter wonderland. It'll be hard surrounded by all that food but hopefully not to hard lol.

On the brightside 10 days into pre op diet im 15lbs down. :)

I understand how you feel! Mine got cancelled twice. Once in October and once in November. But hopefully the time will fly by until the next date. :)
 
Surgery is over as of 12 hours ago. The actual surgery went well, me on the other hand..... I was a whiny brat. The pain was very intense for me and somewhat unexpected. I think the worse part is the gas pain in my back and chest. I've been walking around quite a bit and it has helped some. I've been given Toradol for pain and a blood thinner to make sure I don't get clots.

I will know at lunch today (in 10 hours) whether I'll be able to go home today or tomorrow. I'll be glad to lay in my own bed.

I'm still a bit weak and sore and THIRSTY!!!! I'll keep you guys updated.
 
Good luck to all the Tuesday/Wednesday people. You guys are a bit ahead of me time wise.

Pleased to hear it went well.

I wasn't able to walk for two days after band removal due to the pain levels.

Spot the two pre-ops.

Two appointments done. One to go. Two green lights but third is the important one.
 
Three green lights and I've been told I can have a regular meal tonight.
 
Already in restaurant. I won't post details for obvious reasons on here but will on my 'blog' thread later.
 
So disappointed was meant to have surgery tomorrow but got a call cancelling as no beds , will have to wait until January now !!!
 
So sorry Just! In same boat I got cancelled yesterday due to chest infection last week/steroids. Are you OK? They offered me 30th Jan for a date when I called today x
