Today my lil sisters waters have broken at 29 weeks pregnant. I am one of her birth partners, so I was there all day. She is not in pain now. They are giving her steroids for the babies lungs.

Hopefully the baby will decide to stay put for a bit. If it does, she will have to attend hospital twice a week for scans and infection checks.

Just more stress!

Had to survive on hospital shop food today so feeling crappy.

But that's the least of my worries. Fingers crossed for my sis and bubbins xxx

Hi hun my friend was having a sleeve done feb but with mr kumars sharp exit which I told her about she worried it b cancelled but it hasn't been there's a new surgeon and he does bypasses too apparently wen she went for a appointment to meet the new surgeon she asked wen he was starting bypass's again and apperently he said march time so fingers crossed it won't b much more of a wait now x

My sisters baby was born at 7.45 am by emergency c-section.
She had pains through the night. They monitored her and the baby. Then they checked and she was 2 cms dilated. The doctor said her amniotic fluid seemed infected. My mom and I had to rush up in a taxi. They took her into theatre. Hesitated wondering whether to let her labour or c-section. But then the babies heart rate started dipping after contractions.

So they took him out and found her waters were full of infection. So her and the baby are both on antibiotics.

He is 2lb 11oz and is beautiful.

She only saw him for 20 mins after 2 hours. They transferred him to another hospital. Said he wasn't ill enough to take up a bed there. But left her there. That upset my sister a lot. But fingers crossed she will be sent to the same hospital as the baby in the morning.

What a rough day!!! Just hope they both will be ok. He seems like a tough little cookie already tbh
