Help!!!!

I still wanna lose a stone a week !!!!!

Seriously though you are doing so great it's inspirational. I'm hoping the milk diet will get me off to a losing start. I have size 12 Miss Sixty jeans calling me from the loft they've been stored in for 7 years!! Probably out of fashion now but I don't care. I will squeeze into them by summer ;-)

Well done Ceccie you are doing amazingly well ..onwards & downwards hun :D x

LOL!! Can I just say I haven't lost 5 stone in 5 weeks!!!!!!!!

I weighed in at 30 stone 4lbs on Oct 10th at my initial consultation.

Day I left hospital after op on 24th Nov I had gained 11lbs and weight 29 stone 9lbs.

5 weeks post-op tomorrow and I weighed 26 stone 4lbs.

Initially I was BMI 74 and in a dress size 32-34.

Today I am BMI 64.7 and dress size 26-28.

I know I am one of the biggest on here so it will seem like I'm doing really well.....but it's all relative and you ladies are achieving just as good, if not better results.

X

Great stuff Hun :))))

LOL@Lilac!! Here she is!! Where you been lady? I missed your comments lately, all ok? X

Bless you. Yeah, all fine thanks. I've been here ... Just sooooooooo busy on the online sales ordering up some 14s! Thrilled for your loss! How are you managing 'thickening up'? I found from about week 6 really challenging with food getting stuck and constant heaving. I can't remember when it started to be all ok tho ... That is mad as you'd think it was much a milestone that I'd remember. All fine now tho and Christmas dinner was interesting. V liberating not being able to consume my body weight in snacks and chocolate. Had a bit of a malfunction with the online grocery order and ended-up with Xmas dinner of Sprouts, roasties and a piece of Haddock (indeed!). But all ok. Saw some people on Boxing Day I haven't seen for a few months - they were visibly speechless and all they could say was how tiny I am. Hurrah!

In other news, I've been pretty open with my work colleagues who all know that I had my Hiatus hernia repaired and to take pressure off pushing against the repair my stomach has been disconnected and moved to 80cm down my small intestine etc ... And the weight loss is a side effect of that. All true. So I was a bit confused (and angry TBH) to learn that some of them think I've had a gastric band fitted ... Nought so queer as folk. Nothing wrong with having a band obvs but I haven't had one, and would have said if I did ... Grrr!

Hugs. Keep up the good work. Happy new you for NY! xxxxx

Haddock for Christmas Dinner?! Original :). Actually. Would have tolerated a bit of haddock, why didn't I think of that? LOL :)

To be honest, I sat with my beautiful family and managed some mash, cauliflower cheese and a bit of pork casserole. My man is so good, he pretended he didn't want a big fat piece of beef with all the trimmings. Love him so much!

Not that I would have been bothered by it, I'm so focused nothing can phase me right now. My entire family are surprised at how strict I'm being. I don't think anyone really realises how life changing WLS truly is. I'm having the nausea and stuck feeling most meals and am chewing like a camel, but really don't mind. I think knowing my body can cope and indeed improve on little to nothing is the biggest life changing realisation........why the hell was I eating all that food before?! I always felt food was like medicine......now I know it's not, I was literally killing myself!!

Whoah, too deep for Sunday morning!!!!! Buying size 14's, well I don't mind admitting I'm JEALOUS!!! My arm would fit in one of your trouser legs!!! But you deserve it!! Enjoy Hun, this is your time to feel amazing. It's such an accomplishment. To be honest, I'm not surprised your colleagues are gossiping about you. That's what happens when people see others achieving. Let them talk. Who cares?! YOU'RE A SIZE 14!!!

LOL@Lilac bless you Hun. Have an amazing New Year!!!! XXX

Thanks Ceecie. Totally agree about how enlightening it is - I survived four weeks (like, that's a whole month!) on the LSD of less than 600cals a day, and didn't keel over, then went on to have major surgery consuming virtually nil cals for another two weeks after. Before, why on earth did I think I would collapse without lunch every day ... And then a huge plate of carbs for supper ... Etc. Liberating to say the least.

Your christmas sounds great and to have a supportive OH is just brilliant. I have every confidence that your SS14 wardrobe is going to be a thing to behold! The excitement mounts!! Do you have a size wish to be by say March? You must be several sizes smaller already? Hugs! xxx

LOL ... Didn't say I was a 14, just that I was buying them. Tee hee! I still order everything in a bigger size, or two ... Old habits die hard. Am a comfortable 16 but still get the 18 as well, and sometimes a 20 but it's always the bigger ones that go back ... A friend I've made through my support group which met yesterday commented (in a loving way) that my jeans looked a bit loose. They were 18 ... She said don't muck about, just get them in a 14 as the 16s will be a waste of money. So I did! No idea if I'll get in them - yet! I mean 14 JEANS! That's bonkers man!

Looking forward to seeing photos later xx

Isn't this thought provoking, re birth from fat to slender. What a great tattoo !

Oh I truly believe that outside my immediate family and closest friends, I don't think I have ever been honest about my weight/health/emotional happiness.

It took finding a man who truly loved and accepted me for who I was before I started to want more for myself.

I can tell you all now; I went to Boscombe Bay today. I walked approx 1 mile. It's the first time I have been out in public walking other than around a shop in 4 years. We go 4-5 times per year to walk the kids and dog.....and I USUALLY STAY IN THE CAR!!!!!

I can't tell you how proud my Ian was of me today and how great it felt to be walking pain free, enjoying the fresh air and having fun with the kids.

Even better.....no-one even noticed me, apart from to say how cute my puppy was!!

Happy days ladies, happy days!!!
