Help!!!!

Lol@Aunty Flo! :). She's a minx alright!!

Sorry I misread your last thread. The way I see it, a stone loss on average per month is nothing short of a miracle for us ladies when we were pre-op!! The mind boggles......you literally ate yourself all year!!!!!!!!! :) xxx

yep :) also did my sums on this and calculated that IF I get to my target weight of 12stone then i will have lost a whole me as i am standing now :D.

My God!!! Frankie, don't you have trouble identifying with the YOU of last year?.....I can't even imagine me at 15 stone.......I was 14 when I last weighed that, not even a woman.

Are you the same as you were when you were younger? Are you back to your old self? Or are you a totally different woman now?

I escaped it for many years but it's now come back to haunt me again as people I don't even know stop me in the street and talk to me like I should know them.. Why you ask? Because they think I'm my mum!! It happened a lot in my teens & early twenties. But as the weight continued to pile on I lost that particular identity crisis! Now it's back with a vengeance and I'm not particularly liking it hahaha

I love my mum to bits too hun. She is in her seventies & as my hubby said to me weeks ago. If you look as good as your mum does at 75 then your laughing.. And he's right too I just don't like getting mistaken for someone who in their mid seventies! :8855:

Somebody I know really well but haven't seen since before my bypass in July walked straight by me in the street this week. Before I would have thought I'd offended her in some way, but this time I just thought whooooooooo! People don't see you if your body mass has shrunk so unrecognisably I guess.

It's fantastic isn't it lilac :)
It comes in handy sometimes too. I'm ashamed to say I have let two people walk on by me because I really didn't have the time to talk ... Me bad:whistle:

Urgh! I really can't face food today!! Doubling up on protein shakes and concentrating on fluid. I've made a cauliflower/broccoli cheese so may bang it in the oven later if I feel better!!

Oh and I've definitely had the dreaded 3 week stall.....haven't lost a pound over the past week. Hoping Christmas week is going to be a good one :) X

Do you mind me asking your pre op weight or bmi? Really clever Hun, u must be sooo proud :) what dress szes were u and now? I'm fascinated as I am pre op :)?

LOL!! Can I just say I haven't lost 5 stone in 5 weeks!!!!!!!!

I weighed in at 30 stone 4lbs on Oct 10th at my initial consultation.

Day I left hospital after op on 24th Nov I had gained 11lbs and weight 29 stone 9lbs.

5 weeks post-op tomorrow and I weighed 26 stone 4lbs.

Initially I was BMI 74 and in a dress size 32-34.

Today I am BMI 64.7 and dress size 26-28.

I know I am one of the biggest on here so it will seem like I'm doing really well.....but it's all relative and you ladies are achieving just as good, if not better results.
