Help!!!!

Wowser Ceecie. That loss is sooooo noticeable! Fantastic! I bet you are thrilled ... And when you notice a physical difference, not just a visual it means so much doesn't it! I now leave for work 5 mins later as I walk to the bus stop so much faster. Hugs a million - and lovely to see your face! xxx

Ah thanks Lilac!! I do FEEL much better. My mobility has increased beyond all expectations for such a short amount of time.

Before I started this journey, I was on the edge. I told my partner that I was at my limit and felt my health had started to deteriorate to the point that I could envisage being practically immobile by summer next year. I cancelled our wedding because i couldnt bare the thought of being such a fat bride....and I thought he deserved better. He had the money within 7 days and I had my consultation with my surgeon the same week. I had the op 6 weeks later. We aren't playing at this.

I have my strength back and my activity levels have sky-rocketed. The improvement so far goes far beyond my chin and cheekbones Hun. I just like to play on here and keep things jovial, but in all seriousness, this new journey is saving my life and giving Ian back the life he was planning with me.

So thankful X

Wishing you a very Happy New Year with lots of happiness and love xxx

I'm doing great tanx. Looking forward to 2014! Can I ask who u decided to tell about WLS? My partner and my mum is all I've told and I'm considering my sisters.

Oh I've told everyone Hun.....I'm really not bothered who knows. I work closely with social services so I've always had to report any significant changes in my private life...I naturally told my immediate family as soon as I decided I wanted to go for it! X

I to,d anyone that needed to know or who I thought I wanted to tell when I had my band. Showed I was in control n saved gossip. Will do same with by pass too when it happens :)

OK START AGAIN!! I've decided to post pics on the first of every month. After hijacking someone else's diary and being unable to start a new thread, I thought I'd just post on this initial one I started post-op!

I'm mainly doing this so I can see the reality of the changes my body will go through this year.

So, here are 3 of me post-op in September 2013 at 30 + stone and 3 of me today, at 25 stone 3lbs :)

I told a few close friends about my Lapband. I chose not to tell my colleagues but a friend of mine that knew told her friend and you guessed it, it got back to her hubby that I work with. He took it upon himself to tell all. Those colleagues were all talking behind my back and treated me like I'd lied to them. Tbh I couldn't care less as by then I'd lost nearly 7 stone and was in the gym and I was working bloody hard to stay in shape.

This time I'm on maternity leave so don't need to share info about the revision to bypass with anyone at work. They don't know of my recent weight gain and I want the bypass to be successful before I tell all. My co workers don't mean a thing to me. I've been treated appallingly through my pregnancy and maternity leave and might just resign anyway!
One thing at a time though ;-)

Some friends and family know but I've made it clear it's not to be passed about and absolutely no comments on Facebook !
