Sue enjoy the journey x x x x

You are right, I know, thank you.

I'm lucky as the pool is only a 10 minute drive away so will rope my daughter into coming too. Looking forward to it now I've decided to go.

It's always hard work finding the motivation to go yet when it's done we feel soooo much better.

my nearest public pool would be quite a drive and not driving not really an option, although there is a small pool at our local golf club , may make enquirers there see if public allowed lol i love swimming and am a water baby :) maybe should just wait for some warmer days and hop in the sea :) enjoy it sue hunni x x x x

Hi Donna, sorry to hear you are ill. Big hugs for a speedy recovery. Glad you had a nice take out. You are also doing so well xxxxx

Can anyone help?
I have 5mls in a 10ml band and take a tablet each day. This tablet is the size of my small finger nail. The nurse I spoke to the other day said I should take a dispersible one instead. I thought so long as they aren't large tablets, they would go through ok.
Hope someone can advise me please.

Sue

HI Sue ty for your kind words firstly :) should be fine with the tablets hunni , my dietician say i was fine t take all my vitamins as normal now guess you could always chop in half if in doubt :) x x x

I've been taking a handful of tablets / capsules since I went on proper food post op, some quite big with no problems. Except today. I usually have them with a drink on an empty tummy or with food (depending on the tablet eg my multi vit is never on an empty tummy) but today i forgot & had them after my meal (1st proper meal after my fill last week) & they felt a little uncomfy for about half hour. I think they were stuck in my pouch & took a large drink to get them through. No pb or pain but i wont be taking after food again!
I think it is important to get extra nutrients in especially with limited intake after wls. I take a strong multi, fish oil, calcium, extra d, probiotics, extra b's, joint care & a couple of herbals

Yes. Last thursday. Today is first day back on proper food, so far so good. Chicken & salad was fine. I might try a little bread later. I had 1.5ml in so I've got 7.2ml in a 10ml band. I've noticed a difference this time so I'm hopeful that this is IT!
The weight has started shifting again since too which is a huge bonus, I've lost 3 stone 9 lb now

That's fantastic. What a weight loss. How long has it taken you to loose that much weight? Can't believe you can swallow capsules with so much in your band. Need to get some good vitamins and need to add in calcium too but most vitamins are large to swallow and I'm worried they may get stuck.
Just had the most horrid cold, felt really dreadful and today is the first day I am feeling a bit better. Just wonder with the lack of food, perhaps I wouldn't have felt so ill if I'd taken more vits etc.
I presume we need to take them for life from now on?
Off to town now for Easter eggs. First year I won't be having any.

The weight loss is since my pre op started on 2nd jan. I was stalling around 3 stone but its shifting again now. If your worried about vits getting stuck you can buy a spray made by a company called better you. Its high dose & tastes of grapes! Or a liquid tonic like floradix that gives you your b vits & iron or even a chewable one for kids

Congratulations, I did notice your fantastic weight loss this week, I dont seem to be losing this week, I think I am ready for another infill too, but I just don't seem to get on with them, I've only got 3.5mls in mine, anymore and I cannot swallow, going to just try 0.5ml this time.
