March 2014 Surgeries

morning all.good morning leedslurr hope you had a good night.you are doing really well. take care.well except for the anxiety and nervous stomach ok.i was up at 5 to take my hubby to work.cup of tea.and as I have my surgery tomorrow.the day before today I havnt been able to have anything to eat from 6 this morning.so when I took my hubby to work I had another cuppa and 1 Weetabix with milk,and a small banana.very nice.so all I can have now till don't know when Is water.7.00 in the morning my daughter is coming for us and were off.hospital only 10 mins away.my cold didn't seem to amount to much but still a bit catarhy.and a little cough now and them.so we will see.i will keep in touch and take care all.

I'm home and all is good... Complan strawberry shake goes down well but the soup is vile.

I will start a new thread in post op In the next day or two and will highlight everything I've been through.. This thread and the people on here have been such an amazing support and I can't thank u all enough x x j

hi Soohoo yes I'm in at 8.am Friday,already the nerves are setting in,feeling bit stressed out too from a sly remark from a so called friend.best of luck for tommorow and looking forward to hearing all about your op.xx

Hi all,nerves setting in big time for tommorow.all packed up an ready to go got to be there for 7 am.keep telling myself this time tommorow it will all be over an I'll be walking around the ward lol.for me tommorow becomes the 1st day of the rest of my life the start of a new me

Aww I don't like that either, but I just thought ; this is just for the anestsia.. Once it's in there is no needle, it's flexible and I didn't notice it again.

Honestly I has no real discomfort with it at all...
