Mrs Q's band diary

I know what u mean mrs Q!! My first fill definitely helped and I can eat less but my portions sizes have been getting bigger I either need to curb it or wait for the band to do the work, I'm due another fill at some point in jan.
I think we have definitely been given a mammoth task lol, newly banded just in time for Xmas. My band diet had gone out the window for Xmas to be completely honest, iv been having everything I shouldn't have but as of tomoro, back to work and learning what to eat to keep me full again. Any advice would as always be greatly appreciated xx
 
Bex me too 2 weeks of crap,not as much as previous xmas's tho :)

My advice to you bex is the same as I've given myself,get back to healthy eating,stick to the 20/20/20/ and do more exercise,other than that just keep doing what your doing coz your looking fab in your pics x
 
Thanks for all your lovely words! Trying to get my head in the right place again.........going to start eating properly again from tomorrow, Christmas has been food/wine/food/chocolate!!!

But back on it tomorrow......still no weight loss, only a stone including my pre-op diet and 5mls in my band......xxx

It happens to us all unfortunately even me LOL Christmas is a huge challenge no matter how long we've had our bands.... it was my first real temptation time too, and i struggled hugely..... Its hard trying to get the head back into healthy mode but try and remember why we started this in the first place?? we all wanted to be fitter, healthier and thinner and that's only going to happen when we take back control of the foods going in our mouths.... 1 good day leads to another then another..... the first one is always the difficult one lol ughhh hubby found a panattoni in the freezer yesterday which taunted me all day.... this morning it went out for the birds lol

So far today has been my FIRST good day..... if i can get thru today, tomorrow will be easier honest :)

Come on girls were in this together...... we've alot of targets to hit this year......going to deffo sort us out a challenge :)

Advice needed : I am really struggling with eating slowly resulting in food getting stuck,I've been a fast eater all my life and just can't seem to get my head around it,has anyone got any tips x

Hey I'm quite fast eater and not sure if will help but I have to physically put my fork down and count to 20 (while chewing)

I have a timer on my phone, tedious i know but when i'm struggling i always go back to it :) ...... This morning i had the timer on my phone set for 20 mins and another one on my tablet for 30 seconds .... i get complacent am my mindful eating goes out window so that helps....also there's an app called slow eating worth a try...
 
Apple peel is what i got stuck one time and its no fun ughhhh it takes ages to get the hang of it but so important girls because that's what tells your brain your full :) x x x
 
Productive day today went for a walk round the lake and ended up jogging,yes jogging the whole way round without stopping and for a big lass that's brill lol
Plus I get my second fill tomorrow whoop whoop should be out of these pesky 16s and demolishing the 15s this month x
 
That's my goal as well MrsQ! Get into those blinking 15's!!!!!!!!!!! Still at 16.2!!! xxx

Well that run didn't make any difference still 16.01 this morning,excited to get my fill today and shed some pounds I'm starting to think my band has broke lol x
