Lol yeah I'm good thanks my port wound has opened on one side so I think I'll be going to work tomorrow to get some stri strips :-( but other than that all good swelling must be going down I can eat a full
Muller light and a can of soup obvs not at the same time but I could only manage half of each last week xx
 
Wow congrats on the weight loss, that's fab. Great to hear you are pain free (minus the port)! Where do they put the port anyway? Forgot to ask that Dur!!! Keep up the good work chick, good on ya! Xxx

Today I've woken up really hungry! I had 2 small yoga and a small choc mousse for breakfast I've also had a raging headache for the last two days probably due to not drinking enought a fight with oh which was just mainly me shouting at him and a toddle who hit the terrible twos with a vengeance!!! I feel so **** today and this is when I normally binge head hunger is the devil !!! Off to sit in a corner an cry xx

Ah sorry hon to hear you're not having a good day, I expect its hard to try and run about while still healing yourself. Just remember, u are still very new to this and need rest too! I remember the terrible two's, ah! Doesn't improve much sorry to say :) mine is 14 and just had a shouting match as he wants yet another PS3 game thinks I'm made of money!!! Gone all moody and slammed door on me...kids!
Pre op tests went well, the clinic looks lovely and clean and they said I can bring my laptop, phone and hubby can stay overnight with me.. He scowled when heard that :)
I'm made up with loss, started 4 weeks ago at 17st 5 now 16st 3 can really notice the weightloss with my bad knee, pain is almost gone.
Your loss is amazing too :girlpower: we'll soon be in the 15's woohoo!

Thank you dolly yeah we will smash this chick well done on the pre op I never really took it very seriously an only lost 2 kg eeekkk but not doing too bad feelin okish ag the min but still down feckin depression pisses me off really have been fighting it way too long!! So excited for you hun and I'll be here whatever good or bad xxxx
 
I'm going to have to ring the hospital group I have a bit of plastic or something sticking out of my port wound and whatever it is is inside my wound too! There's a little lump that feels like a ball of somethin maybe glue? But it's stuck inside and the wound is going to have to be opened to get it out :-( xx
 
Give them a ring if your worried but it might be something the practise nurse at your GP's could look at for you. I had the tail end of my stitches left for some time post op and the nurse removed it for me x

Thanks Hun it is like a thick suture but plasticky but I didn't have sutures I was glued so have no idea what it is will give them a call xx

I also have the same I trimmed it and will keep an eye lol

Is it the glue? My back was glued when I had my lower disc removed (in the royal kels! ) had a hard plastic like feel to it with sharp edge that stuck out. Was all ok, I just kept a plaster on it, but best check. Will someone in the royal look at it or your GP?

By way congrats on the 15's yay!!! Be joining you soon, haven't seen that side of the scale for 10 years!

Congrats to both you two guys also on your progress and speedy recovery, going to need you to rely on once I've joined the club :)

It's got a little pea size lump at the end of my wound too and if I pull it it won't come out?? Should have got one of the nurses to look at it today when I passed my note in xx
