My Post OP (Band) Journey 2014 onwards

Enjoy Sharon. Humus sounds good. I think anything that you can chew down to a purée in your mouth before you swallow may be ok. If the worse stones to the worst ...a lovely bowl of ice cream lol x I am getting fed up with my puréed food so may give in to the potatoes. I'm thinking potatoes with cheddar

Yeah I was hoping that...texture not the best with purée!! Yeah I think potato be ok if not everyday love?? Xx
 
Think avoiding the scales every day is a good idea. We got so used to seeing a daily drop that anything less is a disappointment. Where as 3lb a week would be fantastic...12lb a month. But you just would not see that every day on a daily basis ;-)

Hey everyone!

Not sure what's happening, not been able to log in on the phone today!

Hope everyone has had a nice day!

It's my last day before work starts on Tuesday, physically I feel ready to go back, but always hard when been off for so long! I'm sure a million processes have changed in two weeks lol!

I haven't weighed myself today or prob till end of this week as I have the pleasure of my time of the month which arrived today, so been feeling a bit bloated and crampy all day!

Food wise everything is ok (fingers crossed) had soup for lunch shake for breakfast and some mash and gravy for dinner !

Looking forward to getting my hair done this week!

I took a before picture and one yesterday of my face and i think it was the first time I could look and say..that's where some of that weight went! My double chin is a lot smaller! And you can almost see my cheek bones rather than my fave being bloated!

Anyways, I'm off to bed!!

Hi sharon! My wifi is not good but just got on! Sounds like things are going great! Im still sipping away for another 10 days so even puree sounds good right now.
Ive still no hunger, i keep watching my husband eat and think mmm that looks good, but its weird, there is no hunger or desire to eat it.
Im craving prawns and pork though..not something i usually eat!
Im looking forward to some thick tasty soup next week.
Keep up the work x

I agree about the cravings but no actual hunger!

Purée is a strange phase for sure, feel like liquids was more variety! I'm Eager for soft foods again not for hunger but variety lol! I love to cook!!


Well I'm due a band fill on 1 oct but was speaking to hospital today as it has to be within 10 days of my menstrual cycle, and with this month I think it's gonna be off with dates, she was wondering why see the doc before my band fill..so she is checking that then rescheduling them as the doctor likes to be there for the band fills, esp the first one, so who knows when it will be!

Back to work tomorrow for me, in ready but sad as have enjoyed my time off!!

I have a ufit for breakfast
A protein dense puréed chicken and broccoli dish for lunch
A liberty protein yoghurt for mid afternoon
And bottles of water

How this fits in with not lifting anything heavy for a few weeks I don't know lol

I hope you get a date sorted for your fill soon

I have a ufit for breakfast, some chicken soup for lunch, may take a yoghurt incase! Plus water as well!!

Well I shouldn't be lifting anything heavy, more on my feet than anything which is good as I can walk miles in that office lol!

The X-ray team called me today to say Dr gibson wants to see me before my fill to check how I am and if I need at fill at that point he will change dates if need to, but lady did say if do need one I can get it on 8th oct!

Hopefully the doctor is happy with my progress!! :)

17 th October

I'm beginning to feel I need it as my portions are getting bigger. Not huge but I started on the purée with 4 to 5 tablespoons. I am eating probably twice that now. I was able to eat a restaurant portion of lentil soup for tea tonight :-(
 
Today was ok day!

Work went fine, few meetings so minimal running around!

No comments about my weightloss, but I work with a lot guys in my team so il let them off lol!

My hairdresser did mention I looked thinner tonight! Bonus!

Hair is all blonde again!! :) happy days!!

Didn't eat much today, had little mash and slice corned beef for dinner all mushed up! Shakes for breakfast soup lunch x

Off work tomorrow! :) not sure what I have planned but gonna enjoy it!!


So tempted to weigh myself today, but restrained myself as still feel bloated!! Think try wait till Friday and hopefully get a loss!!
