thats fantastic news nicola lets hope you have a speedy recovery once home again

as for the fleecy dressing gowns i have 3 and im keeping them i dont care if they go round me 10 times once im post op they are just too snuggly
 
Went out shopping today with my mum and stopped for my first lunch out. Boswell did me a half bowl of soup which I ate just under a 3rd. Didn't have the crust bread or croutons, cheap date for £2!!! :)

How was the walking around Audra? Did you manage ok?
It may be a pain thinking food when out and about but being a cheap date is definitely an upside :p

I went shopping in Southampton yesterday. Got there around 11am and was on my feet walking around (apart from a stop for lunch - (and dumping!) For 45 mins) til 7pm!! 7 hours walking, not bad me thinks :)

Shame about the dumping but great work with the walking! I've been doing 30mins walk a day In between rain although a couple of day it's been too wet. Today went out at 11 got back about 3.30 stopped for a coffee and then lunch and was ok. Still knackered and jelly legged when I get back from my 30 min walks though as walking faster. Thickening up my fluids now and definitely notice the difference in volume. 1/2 ramekin is enough. How you feeling now Flick?

Impressive! I think you're doing incredibly well so soon after your op! :) Size 14 here you come :D Oh wait til you're on mushies. The amount is alot less to begin with. Im still eating out of my son's bowls he had as a baby.

Well, after 3 weeks of on/off period pains I came on yesterday so im hoping that the weight will shift quicker once finished. Doesn't sound like a big deal but id only had 1 period in a whole year before the pre op diet and this is now the second one since i started that at the end of October. For me and my PCOS, its important and im hoping thats why my loss hasn't been very much. 6lb in 3 weeks...

I'm sure that is having an impact. Your body is starting to adjust and kick start normal functions again. It's such a positive thing and your still loosing weight as well . As long as you keep moving and doing what your doing your going to be FINE! X
 
Oh I really hope so. My husband and I are desperate for another baby but lack of periods, no ovulation etc meant that the 2.5 years trying were unsuccessful. The op being our only chance!

I think im guna run up and down the stairs a good few times each day until my legs drop off instead of facing going outside. Sit ups, star jumps, jogging on the spot etc and look for an exercise bike. It'll be baby steps til im ready to face to big wide world. No need to put my face on lol ^-^

I'd lay off the sit ups right now but the rest sounds great. No need to do any of those outside but will still have the same effect inside! Well done flick.

I am so happy!!! :D :D :D Im in tears lol

Just weighed myself on a whim on scales that a couple of weeks ago wouldn't even register my weight I was so heavy. Found out ive lost 9lb in 6 days!!!

Im finally out of the 20s! :D :D
