I think it goes through but it does feel like it gets stuck to me. but I thunk its alot of wind mainly. its hard though ant it coz of worrying of over stretching band butbi think it shud be ok. x

Yeah I kept thinking it was wind then I wasn't sure. But my understanding was if water doesn't just go through your band was too tight!!! I think Bc I'm so tender and it's so new im suddenly worrying about everything lol!!

Where's your port? Mine isn't where I was told it was gonna be! Mines to the left below my ribs I thought it was gonna be lower down by what I was told in consultation. Xx

Hi, my bypass is Wednesday 26th Nov, not 27th.

Feel in a bit of a daze, keep expecting them to change their mind or for it not to happen. I can't relax at all. Work have arranged cover for me and I'm terrified I'm going to mess up all the plans :-(

Hi ICAWM sorry I thought it was the same day as me as we spoke about it some time ago. However will change it thought we could hold hands and walk to theatre together! Lol
Sorry your feeling like that Im feeling exactly the same hun if that makes you feel better. I feel like I'm going to mess up and have my op canceled due to my liver or something else but I know its all my anxiety building up God help me in 12 days time! Are you ready apart from anxieties? Hows the LSD going?? Im finding it difficult but half way through now! Best wishes hun Im sure it will all be ok xx

Yeah it is worrying I don't feel I've had enough info about this immediate part. I feel like I've been unprepared and left alone! (Although the nurse did ring me yesterday when I emailed!)

I'm having a rubbish time these last 12hrs. In agony from wind.

I need to find something to release it. - probably a pin would do haha!

Yes my ports under my scar I'm presuming. But in consultation I was told it would be lower - or that was my understanding I was told under the ribs was awkward - but mine is below my ribs not under them if that makes sense so maybe I misunderstood!

I'm resided to the couch - too Uncomfy in bed!

Don't worry about the LSD!

Look at me I was terrified! And I still managed it. You can do it.

Make sure you have a hot water bottle for after is my only advice xxx

Kirsty can you actually feel your port? You had Mr Super, the same as me I think? Mine is just below my middle scar, not where I thought it was at all, lol x

Yes Mr super. No I've not had a huge feel around but my biggest incision is on the left.

Here's a post op photo of my huge tummy!!





So I figured it was the one farthest on the left! That's the incision that's most sensitive. And I swear that's where he said it was - but may be wrong was a bit out of it!!

Mr super was lovely though highly recommended xxx

I've got two right round the side!!

And my port I think is the biggest incision in the photo. On the left! I think I can just feel it I've not poked too much though!! Xx

I thought mine was on the far left, but its actually just under the middle scar, the fill nurse said thats where he usually puts it? But I think it can move a bit This is a pic of my scars, had it done 6 weeks today, 3 have literally disappeared, the last two were the biggest. X
