hiiiii ladies....good news!!!! got op date for 28th dec!! im over the moon cant believe its so soon!!! got pre op ass on 14th dec and camera.is 28th nov...its all go woo hoo!!! xx

Well done wencho by the sounds of it someone cancelled over Christmas looks like me you and louise will have same pre op date which a part of it is a group talk so we will see each other there so happy you got a date and we are all within a week of each other so will be able to help each other on are journeys. Well done x x x

yeh i think it was a cancellation....he also offered me 4th jan hahaha.....maybe i should have taken tht so we'd have all been in at same tym but i cudnt knock bk tht earlier slot lol......hope we r all at same 1 will be good 2 meet yous and stay in touch after ops comparing notes and sharing recipies haha.....should we all bring a red rose so we no who we r hahahahaha xxx

It seems like no one wanted a date around Christmas and new year at rakelane. R well we will just have to have them lol. What did you think about mr woodcock? He reminds me of dr who lol. Looks like no Christmas dinner for you either lol. Eeeee I'm so happy for you, and who would of thought that the 3 rakelane people would be having surgery at the same time x x x

I nooooo....go us lol....xmas dinner will still b ok on pre op diet he sed but jst a small portion lol then plenty blended turkey to store in freezer for after....mmmmm cant wait lol. whoever cancelled must b mad but worked well for me lol. hes a lovely man n a made him blush a few times bless him hahaha. xxx

Congrats!!
My pre op came through for both appts on 30th Nov that I can't make so now they're sending me through another date.
I guess a few people cancel over Xmas as when it sinks in they still want that last normal Xmas day.
I've started my hospital bag & am starting a version of the pre-op diet from Monday. Bring it on lol.

I think it's on 6th dec, I might give pre op diet a weeks trial run last week in November just to see what it's like. Hehehe your more organised than me Louise I haven't even thought about starting bag as I'm totally into the Christmas spirit and now nearly finished wrapping and buying, but knowing me will still be buying on Christmas eve. Just want everything for Christmas to be done so it's a stress free year . Hopefully start my bag in the next couple of weeks how is everyone have nerves set in yet ? X x x

ive just ordered an indians!!!!! its my last takeaway...decided 2 have it now rather than nearer the time get it out the way then keep myself on track bein a good girl lol xxxx

well ive had my indians and i cud only manage 2 eat 1/4 of a shared tikka massala n chips lol......think my stomach is in good prep 4 the op lol......was lovely and tasty tho....a real treat considering what ive been eating during the last few months....amazed tht i felt full so quickly and that i wasnt even bothered about leavin food on my plate......not so long ago id have sat there till i burst 2 make sure i had my moneys worth hahahaha xxx

Mmmm that sounds lovely wencho. Glad you enjoyed your small last meal. We have a lovely Indian take away around here in wallsend it's lovely. I don't think I will have a last meal as it's only me and my 7 year old who doesn't like any take aways, it's just embarrassing ordering for 1. I think the surgeon thought I was lying when I said I don't order take aways lol. I don't no which part of the freeman the support group is in I think Louise might no I'm definitely going to this one as it's the last one before surgery, how exciting is that x x x

was def delishhhhhhhh jst wish i cud have eaten a bit more haha. will prob have a proper last meal the night before pre op diet but jst something homecooked tht i might struggle with after..such as pasta/rice or something along those lines but yet again itl b a small portion as me stomach jst seems 2 struggle with larger portions these days.....tht bein a good thing lol.
make sure u treat yourself 2 something a bit naughty thn if your not indulging in a takeaway lol xxx

Got pre-op rearranged. 7th & 14th December.

The pre-op is divided into 2 sections. Mine was originally both appts on 1 day which I assume yours is. One in the morning & one in the afternoon. Now they've changed mine around I have to attend sessions on different days.
