How are you doing wencho have you hade conformation of surgery yet if so what time are you due at ward ? I'm ok just following ww through the week and having weekends off which leaves me about 5lb lighter than last appointment keep going Girlies not long now x
I've noticed there are a few posts at the moment where people have had surgery rescheduled as they were last on the list and surgeon ran out of time.
I know we're got our check in times which are very early in the morning. I think mine is the earliest. Do you think we'll be ok? I assume I'm earlier as I'm having more invasive surgery & to calm me down??
xx
I definitely think your first on the list as I cant see them taking anybody before 7.30 which is good as you will be done and dusted. I don't no how many he will do on the day? And 8.00 for me so hopefully I will be going down around dinner time (fingers crossed). It's a shame we don't have any rakelane post oppers on here to give us a clue what happens on the day x
The surgeon told me he wud b doing me 1st as im the easiest in tht day bein the lightest and no medical problems. He sed wud b 10am wen im on table to be done...have to be there at 7:30 get settled in ward then off i go!!! Everyone has to b there early cos my Mil had sleeve few weeks ago n her time was same for checking in so to spk but her op was pm. Got most my hosp things in now so just need a mini case on wheels from me mam n away i gooooooo lol. Xx
Thanks Wencho. I guess I'm in the same boat as you. Light in terms of a bypass & no major health issues. Eeee. All excited now. Sitting here anticipating my 1st glass of milk lol!!.
I've decided I'm going to start getting rid of my fat clothes now & buy a goal outfit for each size on my way to goal so I can see how far I'm come/have left to go.
Feeling really positive!!!
Are you going to any support groups on the run up to the big day??
xx

i dont drive so wil have 2 look at bus times n services etc. when is it and what time? and where in the hosp is it? wudnt wana get lost lol. xxx
I'll check for you hun. I think it would be a good idea to go for the last one before surgery then we'll feel more comfortable attending after the op.
xx
Aww thanks. I have a friend who.just got her balloon date yest so she might come along aswell. Def think would be good to go to. We both went to rake lane meeting wen the plastic surgeon did a talk xxx
Hello ladies. I've just spoken with Lyndsey who runs the Freeman group with her husband. She's an absolute angel and has been really helpful when I've needed her help.
She confirmed the next meeting is Tues 6th Dec 6 til 9 at the Freeman Hospital Education Centre. It's a drop in so you don't have to stay for the whole 3 hours.
I'm going to try my best to get there.
She really is a lovely lady who was a young mother when she had the op, reached goal and has had plastics so knows what boat we're all in!!
xx
