Sad days. I think I'm going to be hitting a stall this week. :( I don't know how to get through it. Going to be so depressed.

I hope so Ali and Jenna....we just have to get through it, it's just unbelievable at this stage with so few calories going in but perhaps our bodies are just resisting and holding onto weight incase we are starving bu that can't last long can it? Please say no haha x

I'll say no because I want it to be true. Lol. But I am definitely not happy at the moment. :(
 
When I had a band it dud this all the way through. I plateaued for months n months at one stage. I started drinking more n upping the protein n les sugar etc n it dropped again. I still went down in size when like this. Stoopid body

your body will take quite a while to the adjustment any way I am not weighing until my 6 week follow up my clothes feel; loser any way keep strong you will get there x

I weigh everyday n write down weekly on my graph thing. It will come off gal, just don't get hung up about it x

I could technically do it until 21/03... that's my 8 week check up so I assume they'll be weighing me there. So 4 weeks? It'll be tough!
 
My check up is on March 14th so I can def do up til there, that'd be 3 and a bit weeks. Oh my goodness it's gonna be really tough. Let's do it!!! X

Jenna it's so hard not weighing already!! Haha, I'll stay strong! The dietician from Telford rang me today to ask me some questions about how it's going...she asked me what my typical days intake looked like so I said:

Breakfast - Porridge with milk powder and a spoon of nutella mixed in.
Lunch - Mozzarella or tuna in a sweet potato jacket.
Snack - Half a hot cross bun (new discovery that I can eat and soooo thrilled, YUM)
Tea - Beef stew, Salmon chowder or Lamb hotpot etc
+ 3 pints of nas squash and 1-2 cups of coffee per day

She was really happy with that. I told her I hadn't managed the fortimels, as they made me feel sick and she wasn't concerned. As long as I was taking my vitamins etc then she was pleased. I'm happy she's happy and sounds like I'm doing ok! Good times xxx

I listened to my body and what I felt it needed/wanted and I never pushed it if it felt uncomfortable. But I am going to stick to soft foods until the 6 week check up. Also, although the types of food sound great, I can't eat much of them, which suits me just fine.

Porridge with a spoon of nutella in is simply devine!! I never thought to do it, but it's on the new nutella advert and I was like...I need that in my life! You don't need much of it to make a really scrummy chocolatey/nutty porridge :)

How you getting on sweet? X

I've always loved Nutella in my porridge, though it was always more than one spoonful!
I'm getting on well, Atleast I think so anyway.. Still lagging on fluids upto a litre ATM but the past few days I've not been hitting that much as I've been having days where I feel sick.. I'm eating about 4/5tablespoons Atleast 3 times a day and snacking on frubes and light cheese triangles.. Tried chicken curry and chilli the past 2 nights and they stayed down and tasted fab :) I've lost 20lbs in 3 weeks but like you, I need to stay away from the scales! Told myself every 2/3 weeks, but weighed myself each week since op, 3 times in the 2nd week! I've never been bothered about being weighed lol xxx

Well as you saw, I hit a stall (ok I lost 1lb but still) and was not impressed. I think it was a combination of things really. Period was culprit numero uno, not enough liquid and not enough food I think. I'm eating more this week, a conscious effort and deffo drinking more. Feels better x
