Slimpip's Sleeve Jan'14

Not really hun if I'm honest, I'm still struggling with tiredness, but can't stay off forever and I'm hoping have a daily purpose and routine will help. I manage Carers within a Homecare Agency, lots of responsibility, lots of stress but I like it...most of the time haha.

Well done on your loss hun, that's great!! Bet you're well chuffed.

I took my 1month post op pictures today (doing monthly rather than 4 weekly), I can def see quite a big difference so although the weight isn't coming off very fast, the inches are dropping. I just hope they continue to do so.

I'm having my nails done tomorrow, I'll post a pic when they're all done...X

As promised...just had my nails done by one of my Carers daughters (she's a professional haha). It's gel polish, what amazing stuff!! I so so rarely have things like this done so it's a real treat. Better than a tub of ben and jerry's eh?? X

Ooooh... looks great!

Thanks ladies. The hope is that I can get this done for a treat once I get to a certain mini goal or whatever. On this occasion it was a valentines gift. What other sorts of things could i do/have that won't cost a bomb? My next mini goals are to a) be under 20st (not long to go but will be so nice to be a teen again), b) bmi under 40 (again not long to go) and c) less than 100lbs to lose in total (slightly further away but not a million miles)...perhaps I will have another treat one I get under 100lbs left to lose as that's the furthest away mini goal. Hmm will have to get thinking x

Haha, no nor me, these are my natural nails, I like them quite long. However I just used be addicted to tubs of ice cream, particularly haggen daaz and b&j's. Never again eh? Not if my current sugar eating ability is anything to go by x

Thanks Crystal x

Oh Clare you've given it much thought already LOL I'm trying to get hubby to out a £1 a 1Lb in a tin for me so can have a nice spend up when needed :) But hair I think is a must make you feel like a new woman as well as looking like one :) new clothes are a must .... love the idea of the charm bracelet. I make jewellery (amongst other things) I have a new silver kit hubby got me crimbo, so planning a new ring for myself :)

I haven't really thought of mini-goal rewards yet. I'd like to get my hairs done, but I know my sister is going to want us to have longish hair for her wedding (in a years time) and since my hair doesn't grow that quickly, that one may have to wait til after. I might do a pedi when the weather gets a bit nicer, can't have mani's done with my job. Def need new clothes though... even my belts aren't small enough to hold up my jeans now! That £1 for 1lb idea sounds good! Might give that a go. :) I've basically just told Hubby that he can pick out two outfits from ANY shop if he'll pay for me to get a new wardrobe. And given that every time we walk passed Ann Summers he hints at making a purchase, that's pretty good incentive for him to shell out the cash. :p lol

Yaaay for all of us... I'm honestly so excited that we're all doing this and making it happen. And for those who haven't gotten their date yet, you're on the way! I don't regret this for one second! :D

Thanks Clare!!! Nice list, some really good ideas hun!

£1 for 1lb is def a good idea but we are strictly saving at the moment anyway so I don't think there's any more £'s to go around. Haha.

Jenna, that's a really nice sentiment hun. I'm really glad we are doing this together too, seems like we have a really nice little team on our threads :) Love you all girlies!

I had my first day at work today...whoaaaa, back into it within 5mins, crazy busy!! I loved it actually, but just so tired. I felt by 3pm I could've dropped where I stood. I think I'm going to have some tea, then fall asleep cuddling up to my man!

Hope everyone has had a nice day XX

It makes such a difference though doesn't it? I find sometimes there can be a few people on these types of forums who can be quite judgy and sharp...I hate all that. I just want us to have a laugh and a joke and support each other...like proper friends X
