some amazing losses!! well done jo, Mphill and everyone else.

Morning everyone :)
There's been some amazing losses this week, I've never managed to lose that kind of weight in a week, apart from when I did the pre-op diet. I am most definitely on this journey via the scenic route as this week proves once again with a half-pound loss! I saw my dietician last Saturday and she told me I wasn't eating enough and my diet wasn't very healthy (she was right!) so she's asked me to eat more and to keep a food diary. I've done what she asked this week and do feel better for it (probably because I've eaten fruit & veg!) but maybe coz I've eaten more (albeit healthy stuff) my body's held on to the weight out of shock ? Anyway here's hoping it pays off next week!
BTW Karen well done for weighing in hun, it's just a blip and you're still doing incredibly well x
Have a good week everyone x x

Well this is my first time of joining you guys on the losers side! Had my op tue and since starting preop to today I've hit 1 stone off...not bad in 2weeks...if only that could happen every fortnight...now let the hard work begin!!! x

Sent from my iPhone using WLSurgery

i'm not very good with the rest of the forum.....blame the kids! but i check in here on saturdays....keeps me on track!!

Well done everyone...Magic..whoop!
I'm so over the weight gain now! Needed it really, I'd had a bad few days, outta control eating and trying to scupper my good work. Fat Karen took me over again, but she is now back in her box.
Thanks for the lovely support as always xxx

Hi everyone, well i must have an angel on my shoulder this week. After having a bad week, ie no exercise, on the road, dislocating my shoulder and smashing my laptop. I still managed to lose 2.1kgs which now gives me over 21kgs lost since surgery.

The shouder and laptop are related events and would not have happened when i was heavier as i would not have decided that, yes, i could make that train if i run down 3 stories, sprint the 40 metres, run up 2 stories and then down 2 stories, well that was the plan anyway. Before i would go blow it, i'll take the elevator, dwaddle the 40 metres and take the elevator up instead.

All was going well, i was had just run up the stairs when i tripped and my 15 kg laptop bag decided it would become a pendulum instead and drag me off off balance. As i landed heavily and dislocated my shoulder the bag continued in its arc and smashed into the railing shattering the screen, the angel on my shoulder saved my ipad. (this was not the first laptop i have broken but i would be devasted if i lost my ipad).

Btw, i missed the train only because i was trying to decide if i still should go to the airport or see the doctor about my shoulder.........i choose the airport.

Thanks everyone, this is not my first dislocated shoulder, i was able to have it popped back without any pain reflief, except for the swearing and the xrays showed no major muscle or ligament damage.

I was still able to paint my lounge room last weekend, as according to my wife it was not my painting arm so no excuse. I think i would have to get both arms surgically removed to get out our current home renovations.

Good morning banders.3lb off today. 2lb from the gain last week plus one extra, lovely.
4lb more and I'll hit 5 stone! That would be amazing! I'll be telling strangers in the street about it! My family will be like..."yes Karen, we know...5 stone off"!.
Good luck with your weigh ins. xx

Congratulation Karen let's get under 200 by Christmas :)

Well done you two...excellent!
I'm a STS again!! Not losing well at all atm :( I really need a fill...going on Monday. Fingers crossed that they agree!

Well done everyone on their losses.

I have STS, but am looking forward to the challenge of the coming week. Need to make sure I drink more water methinks

Morning everyone. :)
Flutterby what a lovely positive attitude!
Miss H, fantastic loss, and to be at nearly 5 stone off is amazing!
Well done everyone!
I've had a bad week this week, fat Mel has taken control and I've eaten loads of cr@p. I know why, I'm having problems at work with my boss and I've turned to food for comfort (old habits die hard). I seriously need to think about changing my job and am going to have a look online this weekend to see what's around.
The good news is that despite my bad food choices I've only put on half a pound so hopefully I've not done too much damage and they key now is to get back on track straight away.
Good luck to everyone else x
