Morning all, can I join this Saturday weigh in please? :) I haven't started tracking yet so here goes I start now.

Pre-op diet for two weeks loss- 9lbs
Today, one week from surgery loss 8lbs. Total - 17lbs :) I know it will slow.

Hi Sparkle and Jo- well done...its a nice feeling isn't it. Its such a happy positive thing this WLS isn't it :)
 
mel i am with u..had a HORRIBLE week. was away at the beginning so ate quick easy stuff...ie bad choices. then came back and was so tired pplus 4 yr old was ill and baby was being such a headache, felt soooo low.... really fed up and genuinely down... and yep... just stuffed my face with crisps and ice cream... just kept eating.

2lbs on.

sucks.... but hada good chat with hubster and bored him to bits but was nice to speak to someone....he sent me to bed early which made life better plus had a girly get together with some firends and had such a good laugh. feel tons better and now feel well on track.... gonna blast those 2lbs off...not as good as karen though..5 stones ..blooming heck that's just FANTABULOUS!

and jo.....does ur weight los ever slow down girl?

May I join in? Total loss pre op was 8 pounds and since op on Thursday 5 pounds so well happy. Made my OH got up on the scales so my next big Target is been slimmer than him :)
 
Three pounds gone for me this week :) Hoping everyone else is happy with their progress too x
 
Oh dear :(
2 pounds on for me this week, but I'm not surprised and if anyone has read my diary this week they'll understand!
Back on the straight and narrow again as of today, going to start counting calories and keeping a food diary to get myself back on track.
Well done Flutterby on another great loss this week, good luck everyone else still to weigh in xxx
 
Hmm so back to reality now body gets back to normal. Half a pound loss...well annoyed!! maybe as its been my first week on mushy 'normal' foods perhaps? I don't know. countdown to first fill in order...quicker I get some restriction in the better! :)

Only 2 pounds for me this week... I guess I wanted a little bit more as I am still on liquid stage and 9 days post op. But ll see what next week bring :)
 
Only one pound for me :( and I starved all week so that can't be right. Grrrr

On a good note onto sloppys now and I've never been so happy to have a weetabix! X
 
Hey everyone a loss is a loss no matter how small it is!:)
and Mellyb at least you know where the 2lb came from and what you need to do to get rid of them. I calorie count everyday have done from the start i log religiously on MFP.

Now for my weigh in after a disasterous weekend last week i managed to stay the same by weigh in today had gone up 3lb on monday from the sheer amount of carbs i scoffed but being back on the wagon all week has shifted them and i have stayed the same:D i'll take that and run lol

Note to self stay away from the carbs!! ie:eek:nion ring crisps with onion and garlic dip and carte dor choc ice cream!! well in large volumes anyway!!:O
 
Brilliant Tam. Sorry u r struggling Karen. Wld it help to keep a log of ur food intake? U have done amazing so far and u r my inspiration to do half as well so chin up and keep going :)

Thats harsh MissH. Why are you struggling? Is it food choices? Is your band quite loose? Is it that emotional eating thing? Are you eating naughty stuff just because you can? Or is because you've been doing this for quite a while now and its got a bit boring?
Dieting for fatties is a really long haul and I can empathise. I don't want to sound too much like your mother (!) but get your head right now and shift those pounds now when you're young because I'm 53 now and I wish I'd been able to do this years ago instead of wasting 40 years being uncomfortable in my own skin!{{{{{Karen}}}}} xxxx
