The Raw Truth from the start

holiday was good, my reflux problem settled down so I cancelled my de-fill.
off to visit family in the oct half term so I have 7wks to lose a stone.really pushing myself but I have to get going again once the kids go back to school.
nightmare having them home don't seem to do anything.
been at 12.5 for a few weeks now luckly didn't put any on on holiday but hubby put on 5lb....
 
You really have done amazing mimi. A year ago I think you were about the same weight as me and I had my band just before you and you are a good four stone lighter than me now! I've only lost my baby weight because I ended up in hospital v poorly and nil by mouth and now everything I eat has to be v v low fat or I could end up in hospital again so I've lost a stone in a week and now my weight has settled despite small portions of ridiculously healthy food! I hope I do as well as you in the long run. Remember how you felt at the weight before the band and give yourself a massive pat on the back you must feel amazing! Well done x

Your doing great dont worry about how much youve got to lose just enjoy your daughter because it goes so quick my daughter is 16 and shes just got her gcse results she did very well very proud of her .
 
I got acute pancreatitis caused by gallstones I never knew I had :-/ was a rough time. Was in hospital ten days was awful being away from Evie. Time is already flying i know before I know it Evie will be at school then doing exams then leaving home! But at the minute I'm just looking forward to her sleeping all night through! Cannot wait. She's a little stunner though. Growing so fast!

Im doing well trying to loss a stone by end of october cause were off to see family that i havent seen since last april.12.3 now so been in the 12s for quiet awhile.
 
Hi mimi. I'm good thanks. Still recovering. Been naughty this weekend though. Well I say naughty it's nowhere near as bad as I have been in the past but I'm not allowed to eat anything fatty and we got flooded and our freezer had to be emptied so we cooked all the random stuff and I had mini kievs and a chicken burger :-/ starting again tomorrow. Evie is good too, proper cutie!

Hi mimi I'm still lurking lol not losing not gaining but I've been sooooo hungry this week ? booked another fill but not till oct so battling on x still 4stone down so that's all good x

Great to hear from you 4 stone is brill dont give in to the cravings every time you get that feeling drink water i always have a bottle next to me wherever i am.i stayed the same for about 4/5 months so i no how u feel but as long as u dont put any on thats good.
 
I think that's something I need to get back into the habit of drinking more water x
 
Good reminder Mimi, thirst and hunger are often confused. I certainly don't drink enough water! Pleased you are in the twelves! personally, i am a little all over the place at the moment. Had my coil removed (sorry if too much info) a couple of months ago and my hormones and hunger levels are all over the place. Bad habits have not disappeared ... but thank goodness they are not as bad as preband. While I could do with gaining a few curves back, I really don't like the way I feel when I eat sugary food any more :cry: Send me a little kick up the ass please x
 
I no wot u mean my body does not like a lot of fat on holiday i ate two ice creams in one day felt really sick.
 
OMG wth is going on iv been doing so much more exercise this wk and only had 1000 calories and iv put on 2 lbs.
I need to loss weight b4 i c my extended family in oct.
Want to b 11.3. Im now 12.4 again.so so peed off its unreal.
 
It could be muscle though since you upped the exercise. You will still lose inches. I know how frustrating it is though, am there myself right now. X
 
I did wonder about that i have started doing lots of squats.my hips thighs and bum is where i need to loss it.
 
Agree with Ines on this too. My daughter struggles with her weight too and came to me to ask for advice!! a year ago I would have died laughing a that! Anyhoo I gave her a few pointers and knowing about stalls etc I said take measurements before you start because you will need to refer back to them if you find you stall in your losses... She has been a lot more active since, doing her own garden as well as volunteer gardening and I have noticed she is losing weight but she smiles and says well its not showing on the scales lol. I told her to go measure again ...she has lost 8inches in total all round! but only a pound on the scales! Just goes to show that the scales don't give the whole picture sometimes!
 
Squads are really muscle building, so no wonder. You're doing so well, you're still losing a lot of inches... Maybe the scales will catch up, and even if not, you're still doing great. X
