The Raw Truth from the start

Have you tried to mix up your workout? Do a spinning class or yoga or HIIT. Plus you need to add weight training - muscle burns more calories than fat when sedentary - plus muscles keep you from looking flabby. My trainer says that dieting makes you look good clothed, lifting makes you look good naked :p When you run/lift make sure your heart rate stays in the 60-85% zone so you are burning fat... If you're running you might be higher and in the cardio zones. Hope this helps.

Mix it up ...but also bear in mind how very well you have done so far anyway. In the twelves from the seventeens is brill!!! Often the weight losses happen all of a sudden when you least expect. Are you measuring the cms too? X
 
Yes and my thighs have got smaller.so I'm pleased with that in a size 14 next jeans.

My sister and I r hoping to do the Lincoln 10k in April.
I'm having a fill on Mon so hoping that will kick start it again.

Well I went to the clinic today to get a fill and she wouldn't give me one said if I can't eat breakfast then its to tight.she even wanted to take some out but I wouldn't let her.lol.I'm hungry all the time don't no wot to do.
 
Consider having something warm or more slider(ish) such as porridge for breakfast or leave it till a little later in the day to have breckie. When I am struggling (and I do sill sometimes at breakfast, then feel ravenous through the day) eat breakfast in two sittings. I find the odd protein bar or shake very filling, and at just over 200 calories it's definitely better than reaching for the chocolate etc. I am always considering should I have an extra quarter of a mil to take the edge off the hunger but I honestly think its better to not have too much restriction and to try to eat the right foods most of the time, rather than rely on the wrong foods just to manage to eat something. Protein, protein protein and more band friendly and it will work Mimi ... You are doing fabulously xxx
 
I find if I have porridge or weetabix to early I get bad indigestion so I have been having a protein shake first thing then crackers and soft cheese for lunch then my dinner which is apparently to small.so I'm hungry later on.I thought the idea of the band was to reduce portion size but now I'm eating to small a dinner, I am still watching my calories which are about 1200 and I'm running 6 mls a week.
I lost more weight not doing any exercise.
 
You'll probably find because your running more that your muscle mass is increasing, which is why your loss is slower. however you will probs find your measurements are still going down x
 
Too small a portion and you will be hungry which is then why people often think the bands not working. The trick is to find the right amount of food to consume (ie the point just before the band works its miracle of making it all bounce back up again). Not all banders have teeny weeny portions. I am an example of that. I was thinking about you at work today, and if your body is telling you you are hungry it maybe its way of telling you you are not eating enough. perhaps its crying out for that bit more food. If you lost more weight doing less exercise, maybe when you are doing more exercise you are taking your body literally into starvation mode as well as feeling peckish. Obviously, as ever, not all banders are the same ... I know some just look to consume a certain number of calories per day and then any exercise burned off is a bonus to reduce the net calories. Others who exercise up the calories to offset those burned (I am the latter) ... Don't lose heart Mimi, measure those lost inches xxx
 
I think because I exercise more I need more fuel.just need to find the right stuff instead of slidder food.I'm not a big fruit lover that's my trouble but I had porridge for my breakfast and was ok till about 1 so that's good news.

Do you eat the calories you burn working out? Have you tried mixing up your workouts? Boxing gives you a great burn and helps relieve tension :p
 
Has anyone tried raspberry ketone pills ?
 
Yup. Wasted $200 on those and green coffee pills. There's no magic pill, I've tried them all. Diet and exercise is the only way, I'm afraid.
 
I tried them too but no miracle weight loss...... Surprise surprise,
I had read it on a magazine website where you could buy them for a deal price. Do not fall for it!!
