Well had my coffee date today he was actually on his lunch break at my local B&Q where he was doing some training. i even had one of the children with me...... which he knew about before hand but was absolutly fine with. So much so hes asked me out for dinner on sunday, but im working again. when i said that he said "well dont the kids eat as well". As far as hes concerned when there with me they are part of my family so part of a package.
So to compromise were going out for tea so it doesnt get too late for the little one.
He runs his own buisness and has done for 15 yrs hes a health and safety trainer his main costomer being B&Q and travels all over the country. Hes divorced with 2 grown up children and has only recently stopped playing Rugby league but goes to the gym and looks after himself. Not got round to telling him about my surgery but wil do.

well the date was over before it started. we had literally just got to the pub and were walking throught the door when his phone rang.
It was his mum to say his dad was being rushed into hospital as he was loosing a large amount of blood(he had cancer of the bowel)
He looked at me whilst still on the phone and i just told him to go!!!
He was sooo appologetic bless.
Hes just text me to say that its nt looking good so ive just text him back to tell him to concentrate on whats important at the mo his mum dad and family and that he can phone me at any time!!!!
I lost my own mum to bowel cancer 10 years ago and when he was telling me about his dad the other day i didnt think it sounded very good then.
feel so sorry for him!!!!

Well his dad has stabalised with 6 pints of blood being pumped into him over night.
Hes working local this week which under the circumstances is a blessing.
Well hes obviously keen as im at a play centre not far from him tonight with the little one i had with me when i met him for coffee and hes goint to meet us there for tea to make up for last night....

Certainly is he turned up as promised and was in no hurry to rush off. Depending on how his dad is hes coming round to mine on thursday as again im working but he met the boys tonight as they were at the play centre with their mum.
Hes really sociable and sat chatting with the parents when i was busy!!!
Ive had 5 phone calls /texts off some of the parents since to say they really like him and how easy going he is....

Unfortunatly his dad got moved to intensive care at 3 am this morning and he has been at the hospital since then as his 72yr old mum wont leave even though she desperatly needs some rest as does mick and his brothers.
He phoned me earlier and sounded absolutly shattered but was so appologetic about tonight.
i again pointed out that there were more important things to focus on.
He made refrence to life throwing challenges at us and i said i would probably be his biggest challenge yet.
he text me after to say like wise LOL.
But in the meantime hes text me every morning apart from 1 morning when i got in there first and again during the day and in the eve. Really not used to all this attention but it feels so nice!!!!
When i first started this thread it was in recognition that i really am not an emotional eater and in fact when excited or upset i find i cant eat. Food and weight wise im actually doing really well in that i am able to maintain my weight loss as i really dont want to loose anymore. I still only eat when hungry and do eat 3 times a day but when im emotional my volume isnt great but in the meantime just make sure i have milky coffees throughout the day.

Well hes been away in london since monday and im dreading getting my phone bill. im sure i will of used all 1200 texts lol.... saying that he has phoned me every eve and been on the phone for ages so god knows what his will be like!!!
Anyway hes home tomorrow his dad has had another transfusion and is stable and he has said come hell or high water were going out tomorrow night!!!!
Ive still not told him about me weight loss but he has made refrence to my figure several times and i have just said it looks better dressed than undressed.... His responce to that is it still looks good to him so i have decided that im not actually going to say anything...
My reasoning for that is i phoned keith the other day and asked him to be honest with me about how he found it. Keith knew before we met that i had lost weight and had lots of skin. He said that he can honestly say that apart from my boobs as he is a boob man he never realy noticed...

Well what a guy it was such a nice eve we just went out for a walk called at a local pub for a coffee and then went back to mine.
Whilst we were walking we talked for england and he was telling me that he has done the great north run 8 times. But the toughest challenge was when he broke his leg playing rugby and how because he was in a full leg cast how quickly he put weight on.. Seemed like the ideal opportunity to tell him about my weight loss. So i bit the bullet and told him and his responce was "im with you cause i like you for who you are, yes you always look good but it how you make me feel and in particular how you have responded over the last 2 weeks whilst my dad has been so ill". he went onto say that he kept expecting me to say each time he didnt commit to arrangements to say forget it but each time i came back with the responce that he would of given if the tables had been turned and thinks we have a great future together....
Anyway he came back to mine and things got rather heated but he knew he couldnt stay as he had an early appointment and so did i and he didnt just want to do the deed and rush off!!! so i was tucked up in bed by myseld bu 11pm.
Hes text me this morning to say he had a fab eve and cant wait to see me again!!!

Gets better i have a dinner at the rugby club on the 14th and he has just phoned to see if im getting him a ticket!!!! then he said ill pay for them!!
we have come to the compromise that he can pay for the taxi and drinks and i will pay for the tickest!!!!!
