I joined in December 2010, & stayed after my op in July 2011. I use it as a support group as the nearest wls one to me is in Poole 45+ mins away I've only made it to one wls meeting.
But back to ww. I don't point my foods still I aim for the protein levels & 1000 cals allowing for additional cals according to exercise levels. My breakfast every day is a dry-fried large egg, 2rashers of bacon fat removed also dry fried with a dry fried tomato & some dry fried mushrooms. This fills me up & then I have a piece of fruit at break time 11am, soup, or Tuna or meat on about 4 crackers with a ww or other yoghurt or fromage frais for lunch, with as high a protein tea followed by 100g total 0% Greek yoghurt with either fruit or fruit purée on it. Rounded off for the day with a large cup of milk before bed. This gives me an average of 60-70g protein a day & about 1200-1300 cals counteracted with 30mins on a static exercise bike plus the average 2.5 a 3.5miles of general walking each day to, from & around the school site & classrooms. I lose on average 1-3lbs a week at 9 mths out.
My leader is supportive but I was open about what I was having done from the first & all our evening group know to. Went to the morning session last week & someone was saying they wanted a band so the leader asked me to explain how I got on unsurprisingly the whole group was very passive aggressive in their attitude & not very friendly at all so I shan't do that again. Their reaction compared to our evening group was not nice but what I have expected to get at some point from the start. I'm just glad I've been open with our evening group & they are curious rather than aggressive in their attitude.
