After giving myself a proper telling off its back on track!

Day 90
Brunch-1x grilled bacon brown bread sandwich coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
D- 2 x chicken pieces 2x spoons of rice side salad 4x small roast potatoes fruit juice 1x slice of birthday cake 1/2 asda cupcake fruit juice to drink
snack - fruit juice
good day inspite of the frezzer playing up went to my nieces birthday family get togther was really good with the portion sizes but if im honest was still a bit full after a late breakfast but would have looked odd to not eat while there but i didnt go back for 2 or 3rd portions something i would have done in the pass
re the frezzer i guess i may have to buy a new one but i should see this as a chance to maybe stock up on smaller home made meals for when my op does come ?not loads just a little bit to put aside
forgot to weight myself again so will have to wait till wed when im off to Homerton for a chat fingers x with the team and maybe even get a date ?

Day 91

L- instant pot noodle type thing water to drink
D-3x slices of homemade roast pork 5x small roast spuds gravy water to drink
Snack- apple orange 2x rivita with 2x slices of cheese 10 chocolate buttons 1x tea 1x coffee
good day really cut back on the sugar drank loads today as well
re the saga of the frezzer well its still working....for now just keep on keeping on till my next pay day!

Typical freezer troubles !! hate that especially when its full lol maybe a good time to eat the contents and re stock with mice healthy meals ready ............... fingers crossed some news from hospital this week x x x

after been in a panic and thinking i was going to lose my way by having massive meals from the frezzer in order not to waste the food ive decided what will be will be and its only food after all
i think the worry came from childhood days when there wasnt enough to eat and the thought of a freezer FULL of stuff possible going off was doing my head in but my sister said what whould rather do
A- replace the freezer and the contents or
B- replace the contents of the freezer after defrosting it for a day ,find thats all it needs so no need to run out and buy a brand new one ?
so far its working and ive calmed down so if it does stop i will go back to the defrost mode and hopefully it will be ok if not its a golden oppuntunity to re stock with smaller homemade portions of food maybe some puree food and some soups ive already got some baby size plastic tubs to put them in so i may use up 1x shelf of the frezzer for this
in every clound is some glimmer of hope
anyway i will be back later with my food log
ps cant believe ive done over 90 Days of food logs !!

Day 92
B-2x toasted brown bread with marge and marmaite tea milk 1x half spoon sugar
L- 1x sausauge 2x grilled bacon 1x tomato cut in half grilled 1x egg poached coffee milk 1x sugar 1x orange and carrot juice
D- 3x slices of left over roast pork5x small roast spuds gravy lime juice with water to drink
Snack- 2x sesame seed snaps
good day nearly went back for 2nds this evening but stopped myself no real need for it
pleased that i opted not to have chips the lunch was plenty in the past i would had a real proper fry up with toast and a massive mug of tea because my service user was!
thinking about my up coming appointment at Homerton this coming Thursday
not truely sure what to expect
already had 1 visit back at the start of the year i think they said between the last meeting and this one the whole team were to meet up talk thru my case and then i maybe on this visit be advised of the best WLS for me i think i would after much thinking go for the sleeve or bypass after talking with the few i know who have done WLS it seems to give the best resluts but thankfully still have another few days to think it over

B-1x brown bread toasted turkey ham sandwich tea milk 1x half spoon sugar
L-2x sushi bottle of fizzy water 1x mini cake
D- 1/2 of portion of chicken curry and rice water to drink
Snack- 1x banana 1x apple 3x short bread biscuit 1x frothy chocolate
good day could be better didnt go back for 2nds at dinner
going to start thinking about my meeting at Homerton in the morning maybe have a bunch of questions as i think im leaning towards the sleve/bypass need to see which one is best for me

D- 2x sausauges handful of oven chips 7x cherry tomatoes on the vine water to drink
Snack-1/2 bag of wotsits 1x sesame seeds snaps 1 x jam doughnut
its not often since the start of this food log that ive started the day with a curry! but boy it was lovely!
i was too busy keeping myself busy at work to eat lunch on time partly because i knew i was heading to the hospital later that day.
more on that later look out for the new thread

Day 95
B-2x plain bagels with spreadable cheddar cheese tea milk 1x half spoon sugar
L-1x brown bread egg mayo sandwich bottled water 1x disco crisps
D-7oz steak grilled 5x new potatoes boiled 6 cherry tomatoes on the vine water to drink
Snack 1x quavers crisps 3x spoons of greek yogurt with honey 1x banana
good day ben thinking over yesterday`s visit to Homerton and wishing everything would just happen already

Day 96
B-3x egg omlette with 1/4 canof baked beans 1x buttered brown bread tea milk 1x half spoon sugar
L- worked thru not hungry water to drink
D- chicken shish no chips no salad 1x small beer
snacks- 2x snack a jack crisp type thing water to drink
helped a friend`s eldery mother to move house and was happy to work on till quite late by the time we stopped for our evening meal i really wasnt that hungry but they wanted to buy the meal ,in the past i would have been drinking lager most of the day had a massive kebeb and chips and salad and then had something else when the night went on instead i had a small kebab ....and nothing else! its great been able to have as little as i want and no one really notices at one point i even turned down a beer for a nice cup of tea!
anyway turning in now see you all laters
 
Your doin really well Hun and it's fab that you can see the change in yourself! All I would say is cut your omelette down to a two egg omelette as your only supposed to have two eggs a day x
 
Day 97
Brunch-breakfast cupcake -(explain later) tea milk 1x half spoon sugar
D- 2X lamb kebabs on sticks plain white rice home made salad water to drink
Snack-1x banana 10x giant chocolate buttons coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
breakfast cupcake
2x egg
2x sliced buttered brown bread
4x bacon grilled fat taken off
using a small round ramakin dish cut out a round shape using the bread this is your base for the cupcake butterdthe bread and place in bottom of the ramakin dish and put to one side
grill your bacon
when about 1/2 done (dont want it to crispy as its going back in the oven)take out of oven and cut all in half and over the bottom of the breaded ramakin dishes
once the bacon is in place crack an egg over each dish
add salt pepper to taste
bake in a moderate oven till the egg is set to your liking scoop out of dish and onto a warm plate
enjoy!
that i have to say is a lovely dish and very filling only do it every os often its kept me going well into the afternoon !

i do think i need to sort my home scales out as i think its giving me an untrue reading or maybe the scales at the hospital are more on the ball ?
oh well must`nt grumble

difficult day a service ive know for over 25 years passed away after a short illness did see him and talk to him at the hospital knowing that this would be the last time i see him then another service user`s mother is looking to be going the same way if she doesnt have surgery so trying to encorage her to have the operation to save her life has been quite draining
but i had no desire to over eat now seating here on my bed just thinking before i may well have thought
have a treat
your a long time dead
but like i said i didnt and dont for a moment regret it
its good to reflect on one`s day even a day like today
tomorrow will be a better day

Day 99

L8x grilled chicken wings water to drink
D-diced veg with cous cous 1x lamb kebeb on a stick water to drink
Snack-banana in greek yougurt dizzle of honey orange 4x nice biscuits coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
good day didnt need the biscuits not really but glad i only had 4 with my coffee
i can go months without a need for a biscuits but the second there is an open packet at home its like a siren call"eat me eat me "!
anyway i hit the 100 mark tomorrow cant believe i have kept it going all this time but it has been such a fantastic aid for me as i do forget what ive eaten but when i see it ,it keeps me sorted and helps me to keep a tab on myself .i just hope it can help someone else and all the postive comments REALLY do help
