After giving myself a proper telling off its back on track!

your right after thinking it over maybe I will go back but take something with me ,I just wasn't thinking that the group would spend soo much time talking about food!
looking back I had very little to eat before going no time for a quick bite before setting foot in the session and arrived late because I couldn't find the damn room so I was not in a great place when I finally sat down all that PLUS talking about food gave my head demons room to grow
I see that now. had a couple of good days since and will plan better for next time im not really fully into the mindfulness jargon but I understand the meanings behind it ,it felt very "amercian" if you understand what I mean im too british for that get up! ,good luck to those who get more from it
 
I am the same when i go to my group sessions, its a long day, lots of traveling and the session starts at 2pm so normally have missed lunch and don't get out til going on 4 if i'm lucky then we hit the shops, fortunately they sell cooked chicken for a quick fix, but i always carry a cheese string or a mini babybel in my pocket so i'm not so hungry i eat the first thing i find lol gl hun x x x
 
Day 117
B-2x chesse bagels coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
L- 2x bags of plain crisps water to drink
D-breaded fish and a small plate ful of oven chips 1x beer to drink
Snacks-2x mini packets of raisins water to drink 2x handful of nuts
ok day head hunger gone a bit no fruit such a little sick of eating fruit , got a bowlful of the stuff and nothing is tempting me!
maybe tomorrow will be a better day
watch this space
 
Day 118
Brunch- 3× chesse and onion on toast whole meal bread coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
D- 1× chicken breast in peri peri sauce veg and 1/2 a butter nut squash water to drink
Snacks- 1 banana 1x bag tesco crisps 1x snack a jack large rice cake handful of nuts , handful of miget gems water 1x mini single serving of carte dor strawberry ice cream
finally had some fruit! Its been on my mind so a banana was the victim!
Been weighting myself each week and some weeks I seem to stay the same even when im trying hard so today ive reset my scales as im sure they are wrong.......or at least thats my thinking!
Lets see how it works out this weekend
last night off before getting my face back to the grind stone the good thing about work is that it puts back in place a routine of breakfast lunch and dinner with no snacking in between unlike this pass week when ive been picking at food

Day 119
B- 2× toasted teacakes with marge coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
L- chilli con carne with rice sparkling water to drink 1x banana
D- 1× can of ham and pea soup 2x ham rolls water to drink
Snacks- 1× banana 1x slice of homemade banana cake 1x tea milk 1x half spoon sugar
what a difference going back to work can be!
good day I think food wise out with my service user at a local weatherspoons for lunch
anyway of to bed only 4 days and its the weekend again!
 
Day 120
B- 2× ham rolls coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
L- 1× chicken and 1/2 portion of chips water to drink
D- 2× plain bagels with marge 5x slices of turkey ham 4x "little finger" size cut of cheese water to drink
Snacks- 1× plain crisps 1x packet of ramdoms sour sweets water to drink
long day too tired to eat or write much
but had to do my daily log in
im a slave to the rhythm!
 
Just be careful of your carb portions they seem to be creeping up a bit. Instead of 2bagels or rolls for breakfast what about 1 roll and some fruit x
 
Day 121
2x bagels coffee milk 1x half sooon sugar
L- ham and chesse omelette 20 skinny chips water to drink
D- tarka dhall and plain rice with a plain naan bread water to drink
snack- 1× plain crisps
surprised myself in a good way as I just couldn't finish my lunch and only had a light evening meal and no snacking later in the evening !

I think even thou im pre op I have the mindset of
eat like a king at breakfast
lunch like a prince
dine like a pauper
when ive had lighter breakfasts ive not been hungry at all I guess its because I brought some bagels and didnt want to waste them but I do have loads of quick porridge, cornflakes and wheat a bix laying about!
Will try to do better .....maybe I will have the porride for a change.....plus no more bagels , all gone !
 
You're not on your own Hun I used to love bagels but had to ditch them, trying my best to ditch carbs and finding it hard for replacement as there is just too much I don't like. I also ditched chips coz I always wanted white bread but now white bread makes me feel ill. I have only been following you a short while but you really seem to be getting to grips with food now Hun well done :)
 
Day 122
B- 1× ham sandwich brown bread 3x cubes of chesse coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
L- 1× tinned sardines in tomato sauce 1x nann bread 1x coffee milk 1x sugar
D- 2× lamb kebab rolls small salad water to drink
Snacks- 2× greek yogurt handful of peanuts 1/4 glass of merlot
simple day, staff training lunch was lovely!

Day 123
B- 2x toasted brown bread coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
L- 3 peaches 1x oranges 1 water to drink
D- sommerfield ready made spaghetti bolengese water to drink
Snack- 1x plain crisps 3 pints of lager
Day was good food wise till my best friend and 1 of 2 work mates who know about my WLS plans invited me out for a " quick" drink.....well 3 pints later I had to go such a light weight
so feeling tipsy but HAD to do my log in before going to bed

L- 3× fishfingers and handful of oven chips orange squash (n.a.s)
D- 3× lamb kebab on a stick plain rice cucumber onions and tomatoes water to drink
Snack- 2× plain crisps 1x larger water to drink
ok day could always be better but grateful it wasnt bad

Glad to see toast replacing bagels and sandwiches at breakfast getting better by the day good work
 
Day 125
Brunch-1× Bacon sandwich brown bread with tomato coffee milk 1x half spoon sugar
D-2× roasted chicken drumstick s cous cous butternut squash and sweet potato slices water to drink
S.-2x plain crisps 2x peaches 1x lolly 1x lager handful of peanuts
Ok day enjoyed my bacon sandwich kept me going all day in the past I would have had the whole packet ( I go to a proper butcher with real thick cut bacon) but I only had 3 slices!
Off to bed see you all laters
 
Day 126

L- 3× loaded potatoes skins with bacon and chesse lime and soda to drink
D- small steak with 5 small new potatoes boiled and Mediterranean mixed veg warer to drink
Snack- 1x slice of banana cake 1x peach 1x larger
talk about a hot day !
The loaded skins were small, only a starter wuth a big salad and a dizzle of dressing it was flipping lovely! But if im honest the salad was enough I got it so I didnt stand out ( working lunch with service users and 3 thin staff) why do I do this?

D- chicken breast roasted salad potato salad and coleslaw water to drink
Snack- 1× banana 1x carott cake (!) 2× crisps 1/4 glass of red wine handful of nuts
really had a sweet tooth today was craving some dark chocolate something rotten! Had a handful of nuts instead , forgot ive got some kids packs of raisins in the fridge doh!
Think I will leave some packs out on view stopping me reaching for the quick bag of crisps
