Gastric Balloon Any ballooners out there? Support needed!

Ok had a bad couple of days. Eaten too much and not the right things coz feeling rubbish. This has caused me to feel even more rubbish. When will I learn to stop doing this to myself. I have to pull this back. I am not going through all of this with the balloon to then find that I fail. I will not let myself. How is everyone else doing xx

Hey, love. Don't get angry at yourself. Put down the fork, step away from the table, and start over. Maybe a few days of mostly liquids to jump start? You have the drive and the determination. Don't let a few days sidetrack you.

I'm doing well. Pooping like crazy :D Had a weekend filled with champagne and food. Overindulged non-stop. I just got back from a beating at the gym and starting today I'm cutting carbs and alcohol. I need to step back. February MUST be a month where I lose weight!

So, let's all take a collective breath, shun the sh*t, and get back on track! We can, and will, succeed!

Great attitude, Woody! I've made it through day one without carbs! Woo hoo! One day at a time. Looking forward to making grilled chicken with cucumbers tomorrow - one of my favorite LC meals. One day at a time!

If her arm could reach Dubai from Boston I'm sure she would've slapped me ;) Taking a rest today from the gym but will be back at it tomorrow. Day 3 with no carbs is going well, the headache has finally lifted. How's everyone else?

I have been at work yesterday and today which is always mixed as I do 12 hr shifts. I do unfortunately eat more at work but on the plus side can only eat what I take in so has been healthy lol
 
Hi guys I has mine out in November. I had bad burps I was advised flat diet coke and charcoal tablets and it worked!! Drink peppermint tea during the day too that really helps!!

Hi I did my privately in Sheffield. I lost 2 stone. I've put some back on since got it out over Xmas but I've joined slimming world it's weigh day today lol it's made me more aware of what size my portions are
 
Hey ladies... So killed it in the gym today! Scales are moving, though quite slowly. Low carb is easier now as the headaches have *almost passed ;) Put on my jeans today (which didn't fit at the start of the journey) and thought that I looked like a right idiot. So, like many times before, I tried the smaller size... But this time they fit! I can breathe and sit down with them on!!!!

Hi girls!

I feel like I need to share this with you, in order to prevent someone else of getting were I was this morning.

Yesterday, for one of my meals, I mixed mashed potatoes with meat (pork). Since operation I ate potatoes for the first time. Today, suddenly, 7 am, I found myself not being able to breath (yesterday nothing hurt) - it was like my lungs were squeezed (couldn't take a breath) and I had a strong pain in my chest (I thought I'm having a heart attack). I called the first aid, they wouldn't clean my stomach, as the food was there overnight and doctors said, there was no point of doing that. Blood pressure was almost perfect, cardiogram was good. They gave me pain killers and left.
Before they arrived, I vomited (by force) - my dinner came out dry!!!! The stomach didn't work at all during the night. Now I feel ok, but I m all day on water, no food.

I've never felt so helpless through my entire life. My surgeon said, this reaction is not normal, but it might happen ...

For me, it was an aggressive reminder that the balloon is there, even if you feel great on everyday basis, we should never forget it's there!

So... Has anyone considered trying 5:2? My friend has lost 12 lbs in 4 weeks on it. She eats healthy 5 days a week and 500 calories 2 days a week. Wondering if that might give me a jump start. On another note, I tried on a bikini today and didn't throw up when I looked in the mirror!
