Gastric Balloon Any ballooners out there? Support needed!

Hey I'm still feeling kind of groggy I've not seen any scale movement since last wk stuck at 117kg. I've lost 5kg in 19 days hope i start losing again. I was due to be on my period day of insertion but they seem to have disappeared?! Worst p pains yet no ps! Sorry for tmi!
 
I'm sure you will, your hormones are probably just out of whack (that's the medical description ;)).

You had your appointment at 6pm, right? What time did you leave the hospital that evening? Today's the day for me hence the detailed questions.

Nope my appointment was 11am and I left around 3 pm I think. Good luck! Xx

If you go. Ack on my diary last year I asked anyone if the balloon had effected their periods! I had 2 months when they where weird one didn't come ( hubby had snip so that could have been interesting lol )
It does all settle down.
 
Kismet when I read back on my diary u r on asking about it as u where considering the op lol look at us all now!!
 
Well I had my appt with nurse and dietician. The nurse told me off for only losing 1 kg in 6 weeks even when I was telling her how much of a struggle it has been. No acknowledgement on how weight loss slows down about now. Was told she wants me to lose another stone before end of May when balloon comes out. She told me of a man in clinic that day that had lost 15 kgs with the balloon and the consultant turned him down for surgery as he thought he hadn't lost enough and sent him away to lose more weight.
The dietician was better and totally understood. Sat me down and went through my diet plan and we tweaked a lot of things. She totally believes I can lose at least another stone. So I'm totally motivated now.
On the plus side my husband has been for his seminar about his weight loss journey (he has been referred to Sunderland hospital and I Darlington not sure why the difference but it's interesting to see both sides lol). In his talk the consultant stated they expect 2-3 stoned loss with the 6 mths balloon so quite different. Never mind eh.

Woody, I don't get it. You're doing great. They expect you to lose a zillion pounds but you're over target for what they expect of your hubby? Don't let that jerk put you off. You've done incredibly and will continue to do so.

I'm not having the best day. In the hospital with tonsillitis. Guess my body is telling me to slow down but now I've got to cancel all my weekend plans :( Boo!

Thanks Neisie, I don't get it either but il show them il lose more than a stone I've got 9 weeks to prove it.

I hope u feel better soon. Tonsillitis is the worst vid had it a few times when I was younger. Take card of yourself you can pick up your weekend plans another time (though it must suck lol ). Hope hubby is looking after u xxxxx

Hey guys I need help. Are we allowed all green teas? I use to drink feiyan tea regularly just to help bowel movements and tinytea for clear skin. Does anyone know if we are allowed them with the balloon? Or just plain green tea is allowed? Thank you in advance x

As far as I know there is no restrictions on teas. I couldn't drink tea as it made me feel sick for first 2 months but now I'm fine, love mango tea, peppermint tea and white tea x
