Gastric Balloon Any ballooners out there? Support needed!

Day 5 - still have intermittent stomach cramps but otherwise fine. Wearing a Zaggora top to sleep really helped with sleeping, I guess any compression top would work. I'm still chuckling at the fact that it took me half a day to eat some watery porridge - probably too early for soft solids. Have personal training tomorrow morning (6:30 :S) and really looking forward to the training (the time, not so much).

Neisie - that itself makes it worth it, doesn't it? :D

Yes, very happy to be off those damn pills. Now I just need to drop 20 more lbs!

Still quite sick. Up coughing at night :( My training has taken a hit. This weekend is the Dubai World Cup. Going to get my hair done today... Nails on Friday... And Saturday we have a champagne brunch at ours before the races! So excited but wish I was a bit lower. Oh well. Then April is crunch time! Not much going on so it's work, work, work. Complete dedication to the gym and the size of my a$$!
 
Just had my phone call from NOSC and it was Julie she seems really nice and help full filled me with more hope now about the phone calls as she has been assigned to me :) xx
 
That is not good. Get some multi vits in you if you're not already taking some. Wish you well soon xx

Thanks. I'm on vitamins, antibiotics, hot tea and honey... There's a really bad strain of the flu going around here and working with kids gives me the best shot at picking up all the bugs, especially after Summer break when they bring back germs from all over the world :p I'm not awful, just not good and sleeping has been difficult which makes good difficult the next day. Haven't gained an ounce, but haven't lost either.

On a good note, walked into Ted Baker today (to buy for the hubby, but I couldn't help myself), grabbed a 14 off the rack and it fit like a dream. I didn't buy it, won't spend that much on a dress unless it's a size 12 or smaller ;)

Off to try and catch some sleep, hope everyone is doing great.
 
I have Julie at NOSC!!! Be careful with personal trainer, don't do too much too early you may get cramps and reflux

Can I ask how long you guys are working out at the gym? Xx

Hello... I work out with my trainer, 4 times a week, for 75 minutes. I run, do circuits, and box. Sometimes when I'm not being a lazy ass I'll go to the gym at night after work and run another 20 minutes or do a tether swim. I'd love to do spinning, too but with my crazy work schedule and Dubai traffic it's proven difficult. Starting next week I'm incorporating much more running into my schedule so I'll go from 5+ hours a week to about 8 hours.

i hope it goes well :). I have had to be refered to a chiropractor on 12 th session now so hopefully will hit the gym soon ! Xx

Hey darling! I've actually been super sick so my "diet" has taken a hit. Just maintaining for now, no gains nor losses. I have a work event tomorrow night and the races on Saturday so my weekend will revolve around drinking champagne. Tough life, I know :D We only have 3 months a year here that's pleasant (weather wise) and it tends to be non-stop. That said, I've handled my endless concerts, ladies nights, dinners, and brunches well; haven't gained an ounce! But once Monday comes, I'm back! Upping the exercise and back to a diligent 5:2! Hope you are well :)

Lower back? Have you looked into seeing an osteopath or a holistic kinesiologist? Let your body heal, if you rush it it's going to be even longer before you see the gym. Walking is a great exercise if you can manage it. Best of luck at the chiro!
 
Becci take it easy at first I was advised gentle exercise for 6 week post op. Julie rang me today I mentioned this forum to her. I'm gonna miss her after may!! Had fab fast on mon are brekkie lunch at 1 then nothing till Tuesday at 6.30am!! Fast again tomorrow might do same because I need lunch I've got exams at work. Took kids swimming today great robot feel like a whale in a cozzie lol
 
Yeh it's lower back I have to go to hosp and get a dye injected and a scan. after then results I will get in to it and has anyone had a personal trainer was considering this ? Ahh did Julie know bout this forum ? I bet you will miss her :/ xx

I have a personal trainer and it's really helpful. He helps me to stay motivated and he's damn expensive so I make sure I get as much as possible from each session. I'm loving my arms right now as I've got some solid bicep muscles :D
