I don't know I shall ask when I'm in, my dad used it on his bypass scar after about 10 days and that was a 12 in scar, it's was a mess!!
Haha sorry i meant heart bypass scar! Daft me...should have elaborated!! Ive already got scars on my legs from accidents as a kid so im not bothered too much about my tummy but will try to make them as invisible as possible
Are all those that had op this month just feeling so tired all the time ? I know I am, and a slightly doodgy tummy so getting some exercise .......... up and down the stairs lol ! Feeling a little useless at the moment, but that will pass once I am up and about more x
Hi everyone, I'm due to have my bypass on Thursday (21st) at the Luton and Dunstable hospital. I am really struggling now with my pre-op diet, milk diet it did it for 12 weeks last January no problem so not sure why 2 weeks is an issue now?! Well done to all those on the losers bench already and fingers crossed the rest of us will join them soon Xx

Yes it is, I know it's a mix of being lonely (my boys went to their Dads on Friday till Monday) and knowing I won't be able to eat like before again, which deep down I don't want to obviously but it's now the start of the realisation.
Well im still counting down to the 26th!! Im sticking to the diet no probs, not really missing anything and ive have given up the pepsi max and fizzy drinks. Theres still a few of us to go this month,,,its good to here from those who have already been in!!
Ive moved on to NAS vimto...they also do a still version premixed in a 500ml bottle so im taking these to work too, to make sure i keep drinking. I then just use the diluting stuff at home. Im drinking tea with no sugar and that probably my biggest miss as i usually take one sugar in tea.
Is it no added sugar, I think it is, yes it's a still drink and I know the premade Vimto is 4 cals per 100ml. I'm not keen on ribena it's a bit bitter but the Vimto is good.
