Banders Daily Diet and Exercise Log

I'm soooooo hungry!
All I've had today is some shreddies and 1% milk. This is vvvvv unusual for me so don't worry I'm not going to do this thing unhealthily.
Was advised not to eat for 4 hours or drink for 2 hours before my 7pm fill but now it's moved to 8.30-9pm and I'm fed up.
How pathetic after 1 day!!!!

Are you going to join us on Saturday for a weigh in? or wait til next week when you're back to normal more ?
 
Evening all!

Today iv eaten

Porridge
WW yogurt
Tomato soup
Choc mousse
Youngs fish pie
Choc mousse

This evening my meal was uncomfortable to eat, I dont have anything in my band yet, could this feeling be restriction? ;( x
 
Likely you are still sensitive in there Jo...even without restriction proper, I definately noticed the difference. As i say it is only the start of more dense foods for you so it will feel odd and then by the time you are over this stage , it could be you feel nothing much.

Always listen to your body signals though and don't try and force food in if you have that pain and discomfort.
It's a gradual process of trial and error to find the foods that agree with you better x

The mushys went down fine , albiet a tad slower then before and kept me fuller for longer - yipeeeeee.......am loving this band malarky - the real test will be friday when I am back to normal foods - I really couldnt eat another single thing today ( not that I am gonna like) saving myself for a drink later ( not alcoholic ) NAS or a cuppa tea.......thanks for asking NeeN

Today I have had

Yogurt
Actimel
2/3 pita bread (wholemeal)
ham
salad
roasted veg
lamb steak (got stuck with this - must remember to chew chew chew)
chocolate mousse (low fat)
milk drink with added milk powder for protein

I've managed 58 g of protein, 830 calories and over 1.5 litres of water.

Hope everyone else had a good day.
 
Evening all. Today's intake (still on liquids)

Actimel
Protein shake
Water - managed a bit more today but it is still a struggle
chicken soup for lunch and not long ago for my evening meal
4 cups of coffee drunk throughout the day.

This is the first time I have had to do the liquid stage whilst at work and I am finding it really hard. It is much easier to do if I am home.

Exercise today - lots of walking around in the office. Longer walk to a meeting I had first thing which was mostly uphill. It was a beautiful day and really warm - I was sweating by the time I got to the meeting. My mobility is definitely improving - but my ankles and legs are really swollen tonight. I have a pedometer which is still sitting in its box from when I bought it last year:rolleyes:. Going to get it out and start using it to monitor how much I am moving around.

Cool, it's great when things go to plan. I did go swimming, and it was lovely, the pool was really quiet. So I swam for 30 mins while Charlie had his lesson and then we played for another 30 mins. So we're both tired but happy :)

Ok, so far not much eaten but restriction feels spot on for day 1 while it may still be swollen.

Today:

Breakfast: 1/2 a mushy weetabix, 1% milk
Skinny cappuccino
Lunch: tried to have tomato soup and cup of tea at m&s but felt quite uncomfy so had to leave it. Maybe cos it had bits in it?
Small glass squash
Cup of tea
Tea: too full until 9pm-ish when had a weetabix mushied with milk
