Banders Daily Diet and Exercise Log

Evenin' all. Hope everyone's had a good weekend, can't believe it's over already and it's back to work tomorrow. I don't normally post what I've had over the weekends as I relax a bit with the calories and kinda go with the flow a bit. However, despite this I've been pretty good this weekend and haven't completely lost control, lol.
Back on the calorie count tomorrow so will post the usual log tomorrow night. Have a good week everyone, onwards and downwards! xx

Same here Mel x Back fresh with the plan tomorrow x

OOh nice Toffee..where abouts?
I wouldn't worry about the scales hun, remember mainly meats/fish ask for sauces to be served on the side/separately, plenty of water (bottled I guess!) fruits and veggies and an ice cream or bit of alkihol a couple times a week for a treat and you should be OK xxx
Oh plus if it's going to be hot , lots of swimming and sunning...always more difficult to overeat in the heat I reckon x

Aaw - clever Charlie - Sarah its amazing all these lovely steps they take as they are growing...first start of independance. x

Neen - great advice as always. We're staying uk based as we've got 1 baby, 2 doggies and 2 grandparents who are coming too! We're going to the lake district for the first week then up to Scotland for the second. I'm worn out at the thought of it! Hopefully it will be lovely though.

Kat - great food choices, hun. Glad you're back on track. Xx

Evening all:D

I am exhausted. Today I walked a lot and had to climb lots of stairs as I had to take the train to work. By the time I got home I was too tired to do anything else. Plus my ankles are very swollen. Not an excuse, but I am not punishing myself - plenty around who think that is their job:rolleyes:.

Actimel
1 coffee
1 weetabix with skimmed milk and a teaspoon of splenda
lamb and vegetable big soup
water - not enough
pork shoulder chops done in the slow cooker - I should have told Mr TB to switch them off sooner - they totally disintegrated - cooked with carrots, onions, leeks, garlic, served with cauliflower and spring greens -drizzle of sweet chilli dipping sauce( always gives a nice zing for me) - had a small bowl full
muller light yoghurt chocolate orange flavour - delicious

Feel stuffed. I thought my restriction following the fill had gone but it is back with a vengeance tonight.

Monday

Breakfast: 10:30am
Porridge Oats with seeds, nuts & fruit (1 sachet with 180ml of SS milk)

Lunch: 13:30
Approx 125g of steamed salmon fillet pomegranate, corriander & bulghur wheat salad
Low fat yoghurt.

Fish got stuck .... I tried to keep it in, but I just couldn't. So didn't finish the salmon, btu wate the bulghur wheat/pommy/corriander mix.

Mid afternoon 15:00
Started feeling peckish ... so bout two packets of NSPCC biscuits one packet shortbread, tuther Honey & wheat (4 biscuits in all).

Exercise: 60:00 Spin Class - approx 950kCals burned

Evening meal 20:30
Fish stew (made it months ago and it's been sat in freezer looking sad - it's just cod, carrots, tinned tomatoes lemon and thyme)
with a little bulghur wheat mixed with adzuki beans and sweetcorn (again courtesy of the freezer)
Low-fat toffee yoghurt
3 Sesame seed snaps (i really fancied biscuits, but only have ginger nuts in the house - i hate ginger nuts)
dinner didn't really touch the sides hence the additions.

Water drunk - 2.5 litres
Coffee (decaff with sweetener & ss milk) - 2 cups
100ml fruit juice (mixed with 100ml of water)

Gonna make a cup of herbal tea (without milk or sugar .. just hot water) in a minute.

I'm not stuffed or even sated

CC how much did they take out of your band? You burned a hell of a lot of calories in your exercise - could you need more calories - perhaps just in protein?

Hi all - not been too good today but not overly bad either! Started off okay and was good all day but when I got home I spied the chocolate cake that my MIL made and brought with her yesterday. So I had a small slice which set off my inner demons so I had another small slice, a packet of crisps and 2 'fun-size' (says who?) choccy bars. However after that I didn't have anything else tonight. I know it's not healthy but in the olden days I would have had all that and then eaten my dinner. I reckon calorie wise I'm probably around the 1400-1500 mark so hopefully no harm done.
Now off to do a little bit of ironing before bed - does the fun never stop??!!
Hope everyone else okay xx

1st day back at work today.

B - Fruit tube
L - Jacket spud with butter (no skin)
S - Jelly with cream
D - Tuna jacket (no skin)
W - 750ML
E - Zero
