CC how much did they take out of your band? You burned a hell of a lot of calories in your exercise - could you need more calories - perhaps just in protein?

They took 0.5ml out. So I do feel a lot looser inside. I also have an appetite. When I was restricted at 9ml I totally lost my appetite. :eek:

I burn that many calories because I'm so heavy and fat. 900kCal is low for me. I usually burn around the 1100 kCal mark per class. Last Friday I burned 2600kCal from exercise alone.

I try as hard as I can when I'm exercising.

CC...the 'f' word like the 'd' word is banned - for me...too negative but just my humble opinion - feel free to kick to the curb:D.

I am no expert and no preacher (at least I try not to be - but being a little older than most who post here I feel a bit like a clucking mother hen - and I have no kids - so who knows why:D).

I think you may be putting your body into starvation mode because If i am doing the math right you are burning a lot more than you are consuming to achieve a health weight loss. Why not be daring and try something new to give yourself a measure? Ditch the exercise for a week. Eat what you normally do when you exercise and see what results - then do a week back on the exercise and eating plan you normally adopt and see what the results are.

I think the key for you is fine tuning - you do all the right things exercise wise - I think you need to look again at what goes in as fuel. Just my two pence worth - feel free to kick to the curb again:D.

This is my food intake for the day which begun @ 4am .

half a sausage roll
half a lamb samosa
one chicken drumstick
5 slices of carrots with some hummous

Foods been kinda grab and go today as had medical appointment this morning and one this afternoon, restrictions been real tight today.

fluids - 2 cuppa tea's, one cuppa coffee, 2 pints of nas blackcurrant Juice, and one vimto

Yes I tried not exercising for a week once ... made no difference. I'm doing different things at the gym and trying to moderate my attendance at the gym too. :)

Keep posting what your intake daily and lets see if we can unravel this with you. I admire the fact you do so much exercise - just wish I could do that.

Rosemary Conley tonight. Weighed 284Ibs on her scales last week (281 on mine!) and I've not had a good week tbh. I weighed in in the morning last week and today I'm weighing in the evening having had a big lunch - salmon ravioli with boiled sweetcorn and a few rich tea biscuits. Breakfast was porridge with dried fruit, no nuts.

I'm struggling mentally at the moment. I just wish I could shift a stone over night that's give me the impetus and the boost.

Anyway ... more exercise will ensue and I'm hoping to do a spot of Pilates before I get to class.

My provider phoned me today and was surprised that i could handle tuna on the mushy stage. Does / did anybody else suffer with tune on mushy stage?
 
Oh, cc. I hate weighing on different scales. It sucks a lot!
I remember losing a lot of weight about 10years ago and getting to 10stone 2 then weighed on the boots scales in town for some reason and weighed 10st 10. I was gutted!
Now I'd love to be 10st 10.

Evening all

I had a really upset tummy today and that has meant my band has been tight. Thankfully it is a bit better now but I am at a loss as to what caused it - I am a bit worried it was my dinner last night as I am going to have it again tonight:rolleyes:.

Actimel
3 cups of coffee
omelette made with two eggs and skimmed milk
salad - tomatoes, cress, beetroot, cucumber, lettuce, celery (made by Mr TB bless him - he always does my salads) prawns about a small handful and 4 fish sticks, a drizzle of low fat mayo and a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce - this is my absolute favourite lunch - could have it every day. The salad fills you and full of protein.
Going to have left over pork chops from last night with spring greens and cauliflower - and hope it does not set my tummy off again in the morning
1 ribena light
water - not much about 25 cl - pathetic

No exercise today - must do better tomorrow.

My water intake is worrying low although I was never a big water drinker. I drunk a lot on my pre op and it really helped. Post op I find it a struggle to get down especially as I have to sip it and cannot get large amounts down.

Tranquil - with all your underlying work issues....you may not realise that it is causing you some stress. Hope it all goes away tonight x

Sarah - sorry you have been unwell, what has caused you to be so stressed? Hope you feel better after a good nights sleep hun x

Todays grubsteaks - Tues 19/04/11

Breakfast - Shredded wheat x 1, 50ml s/s milk

snack - special K cereal bar + an apple

Lunch - Finished can of salmon that I had opened yesterday, had with a mixed salad

Tea - half a jacket potato with chilli con carne and small chunk of grated cheese on top.

snack - yogurt and a s/f jelly


drinks - 2 x teas, 2 x coffees, s/f juice
