If you've not got a fill, you're just a normal person with no band restriction.

Don't feel bad about eating a whole potato.

If you're feeling hungry now, take a hot drink, then wait 15 mins, if still hungry eat something. :)

Thanks sweet, I think I feel disappointed as till today wasn't bothered about food at all :) x

Miss H I feel for you as it is difficult without a fill. Stay strong - you are doing so well. I know I can eat more and it has only been 5 weeks from my last fill. I am going to have to chase my provider for my next appointment which is due in 3 weeks or I am going to be struggling big time.

Today:

Actimel
2 cups of coffee
Protein shake - could not face a solid breakfast
tuna mayo with salad
rest of herders pie with broccoli
muller light rice
water - small bottle 50 cl - more than I usually have but still not enough

I tracked this down after seeing someone mention it in a post. This guy seems to go against what most providers advise but it is interesting. I looked at the book on Amazon but at nearly £19 I personally did not think it was worth it.

Take any combination :

Not bothered about food - ate naughty
Bothered about food - didn't eat
Bothered about food - ate loads

etc. etc.

What does it matter. It's the downward trend that really matters.

Don't worry about it hun, it'll all come good. Don't put pressure on yourself. If you're hungry - EAT- thats what people do! :)

TB,

I've got the book at home. It's OK, but really only gives advice pre and post op.

I also bought the book you mentioned a few months ago by the nurse (lap-band patient) and surgeon - didn't really like that book either. Wasn't all that helpful :)

How are you today? Are you working tomorrow too?

Forgot to mention, no exercise as such but did a lot of cleaning and spent a long time chopping veg etc., preparing tomorrows dinner. For me it is always a big deal because 7 months ago I could not have stayed on my feet long enough to do any of that. Tomorrow I am going to make the effort and try and do something - like the wii fit or even risk the cross trainer - still have the fear of breaking it as I am probably still over the maximum weight for it. Might even use the weights that I bought ages ago and are still in the box as I have a serious bingo wings issue going on:rolleyes:.
