I've got the book at home. It's OK, but really only gives advice pre and post op.

I also bought the book you mentioned a few months ago by the nurse (lap-band patient) and surgeon - didn't really like that book either. Wasn't all that helpful :)

How are you today? Are you working tomorrow too?

Sorry you didn't like the Sharon Bates book. I am still reading it - a few pages when I can. I have had two days off from working but will have to Sunday and Monday as Ming Ellen is turning up the heat:(.

I feel a bit better today. Still tired but it will take months to undo the damage of the weeks since I went back to work.

Who is Mind Ellen? or What is Mind Ellen? :confused:
 
It's Ming Ellen. It is the nick name for my boss. On one post I was describing her as one of those power dresser throw backs from the 80's - all suits and shoulder pads and someone came up with the name and it stuck. A cross between Ming the Merciless from Flash Gordon and Sue Ellen from Dallas.

I seem to have eaten lots and lots today. No restriction! However no feelings of hunger bar one incidence.

Tomorrow a better day! x

water - better today - just under a litre
1 cup of cadbury choc higlights
2 egg mushroom and cheese omelette
1 satsuma
curried goat, rice and peas, broccoli - traditional West Indian dish - probably sky high in calories - our Easter Sunday treat
muller rice

No exercise - just too tired:(.

Melody of Melons - 5 cubes
120g tin of Sardines in Tomato Sauce ( ate 75% of it)
7 Teaspoons of Instant Mash
8 Slices of Carrots, wiv Hummus

Fluids

2 Pints of Nas Juice
3 Cups of Tea
1 Cup of Oxo
 
Julie - You make me feel very guilty. I think my restriction must of slipped this weekend.

Its so bad I`m not even gonna post what I had, I`m blaming looking after littlun and mopping her food up that she left as well as too much of my own.

New Day tomorrow!

I`m gonna sit on the naughty step in shame!

Mcdonalds milkshake (about half!!) so bad!

I forgot to have breakfast this morning, I don't think I have ever done that before.

3 mini oatcakes with cheese
1/2 cookie
baked potato with tuna and cheese
1/2 sausage, 1 bite of burger
sml bowl of trifle
1 sml lindt rabbit

fluids
3 coffees, 1 hot choc, 2 glasses water

Zero fruit or veg, v naughty!!
 
Food

Had to fast for a blood test so didnt get too eat or drink till 11am

1 Parcel ( Filled with Beans,sausage and Cheese) Didnt Eat the outer crust
just the centre
1 Packet of Cheesy Nibbles
Half a Saveloy, 4 French Fries

Fluids

1 Pint of Nas Juice
3 Cups of Coffee
1 Pint of Water
