Tues 26.04.11

Back to work & back on the wagon today!

Breakfast - 20g Special K, 10g Fruit & Fibre, 50g s/s milk

Snack - Apple and a Clementine

Lunch - 2 x ryvitas slice ham, 2 x babybel light

Snack - yogurt

Tea - chicken x half a breast with broccolli and cabbage with spoonful of gravy.

Drinks - 2 x teas, 1 x coffee, s/f juice, cranberry light juice.

Back on the wagon too after a bad easter weekend do not even go there guys!! yesterday.....

2 ryvita with 45g salmon pate = 214
2 tea with s/s milk
Lunch
3 ryvita 45g tuna pate = 249cals
s/f jelly = 10 cals
Highlights = 40 cals
Dinner
ww beef hotpot + 2 ryvita = 300cals
snack
alpen light = 63cals
mini creme egg :( = 50cals

2 litres water:)
total = 956 cals

innocent smoothie
slim fast
3 bites of banana
2-3 tbsps of fish .......super stuffed super nom nom!!

as u can see im done with liquid only! 1 week and 1 day earlier then i should!!
 
Magic - take care hun, as long as you take things slowly, don`t want to rush too much onto next stage....gotta be careful with your new pouch hun x


Today : Weds 27.04.11

Breakfast - yogurt, 10g Special K

snack - 2 x babybel lights

lunch - half small tin of tuna in brine, mashed with tblsp sweetcorn, vinegar and mayo light. Lettuce, cue, celery and toms.

Tea - Omelotte (sp) 2 x eggs, sm block of cheese finely grated into with chopped mushrooms.

Drinks - 2 x teas, 1 x coffee, s/f juice

On mushy stage
B- yogurt
D- 4 hot dog sausages (29 cals each), low fat Philly 2 small spoonfuls, beetroot mushed & chewed up.
small pot of low fat custard.
T- potatoes mashed, smoked 2 small fillets only the inside.
A bit naughty a bit of chocolate tut tut
Oh I hope I'm doing right (apart from chocolate)

100g cooked ham = 122 cals

Dinner
1/2 ww chicken tikka with rice =183 cals
BE Steam bag veg = 50 cals

snacks
highlights 40 cals:)

On the low carb road now out of desparation!
Sugar is just slowing me down and is too much of a trigger for me.

today:
Choc fudge protein shake

30 mins exercise bike

Dry fried eggs (yay can eat eggs again) 100% steak burger, grilled tomatoes and a couple mushrooms, tiny sprinkle of grated cheese

Choc protein shake

Sugar free lemon & lime jelly

kitkat....everyone goes mushies after 2 weeks so i hope its ok for me to do so as well....dunno why my provider says 3.... they dont band it diffferently do they?

Different providers do give varying instructions regarding post-op diet....the main thing is Magic - just listen to your body...and try to stick as much as you can to the programme.

If you feel the mushy stage is right for you now....then take it slowly and make sure everything is well blitzed so nothing lumpy is going down. I am only urging caution as your pouch is still new and it is getting used to food again. Don`t forget your food is sliding down a smaller opening now. The last thing you want to do is stretch it!

Thurs 28.4.11

Tea - shepherds pie, broccolli, carrots & peas

Thursday:

Actimel
1 cup of coffee
1 weetabix with skimmed milk and sprinkle of splenda
corned beef, drizzle of sweet chilli sauce and salad
home made toad in the hole and baked beans - one of Mr TB's favourites - my first time since the op with sausages and beans - ok - far stayed down
muller rice - eyes bigger than my belly - really did not need that- pouch squealing in protest

Exercise- did a lot of walking today while at work.

B: 1 boiled egg, 1 rasher of bacon
L: Salad
D: 2 coffees, 1/2 hot choc

Ex: Walking dog and playing in the street with Charlie

Now read my 4 year old sons diary...
B:cereal and a huge fruit salad
Mid morn: boiled egg, toast, bacon
Snack: yoghurt
Lunch: a large salad
D: fruit juice and cordial

He's been under the weather recently and his appetite suffered, but omg it's returned today!! He's super skinny as well!

lasagne + salad + 3 slices garlic bread + 6 fries = 818 cals :eek:

mikado = 11cals
dairy milk lolly =260 cals

total = 1617 cals (much more than usual but chilling today) have a good weekend everyone xx
 
Fri 29.4.11

Breakfast - 2 x bacon rashers, 1 x poached egg, mushrooms, tomato, 1 x finger toast with thin butter.

Lunch - chilli con carne on jacket potato (did`nt eat jacket)


Tea - rest of chilli con carne with mixed salad + 1 tblsp of cooked cold rice.

snack - frozen crunchie bar


Drinks - 3 x teas 1 x coffee, s/f juice or water.

Drinks - icey cold water , couple decaff black coffees - no sugar


Choc protein shake (with xtra cocoa powder yum)

11 mins exercise bike (sore bum!!.. will have to do short bursts during the day!!)

2 Small 100% steak burgers, 1/2 tin chopped plum tomatoes with sprinkle of grated cheddar, dry fried eggs (only had the yolks) couple slices bacon with no visable fat (all grilled meats/george forman grill to cook)

Atkins bar

sugarfree choc angel delight with layer of sugar free dream topping and dust of cocoa on top (in a small bowl, made 4 small separate servings worth)
