I love pancakes Rache but with chocolate buttons???? Im a lemon and sugar girl, having said that I havent tried them post op. I tried a scotch pancake well over a year ago but as it didnt go down well at all I ruled them out :rolleyes:
 
By the way you lot! did you notice Im 1lb below goal????

Ok I know I confused things by amending my ultimate goal BUT I wanted to revert to my original on my stats to prove we can indeed do it!

I still have my ultimate goal as recorded in my signature though :rolleyes:

Just getting ready for bed I noticed my tummy under my ribcage is really pushed out. I'm usually quite flat there but now I'm smuggling a beach ball! Is that normal!?

It was not like that after lunch today, so it's blown up this afternoon

I still have my plasters on but one is loose, should I take it off?
 
Its probably still swelling, it will go down so try not to worry. I had my dessings removed by the nurse at my GP after a week - what did you get advised re them? x
 
Um nothing! I was told they would change them next day but they didn't, I was told I could have light showers. That's all!

I'm going to go pop!
 
After a few days my stomach was so swollen that when I lay down I could feel the band, it was a strange feeling but went away after a few days. I also thought I could feel my port in 2 different places and it turned out it was in neither!! I think I'm a bit odd ;)

I was also told to get the clamps/dressings off at the surgery after 7 days, they even provided me with a clamp remover to pass to the nurse, which was totally painless.

Aw Mazza thats fab, well done, I'm made up for you.

Rache I ended up having 1 1/2 pancakes, they were the American style ones so were pretty thick, I've done so much exercise recently I'm hoping it'll counter them xx
 
One came off it the night it's the one on the very right side and the red line that's now revealed is so small and neat, it's a cm and still quite bright but looks fine!

Back to work this afternoon :)
 
I am telling everyone I am giving up cheese booze and bread for lent! Nevermind the fact I can't eat those things now anyway ;-) that should explain my rather strange soup heavy diet choices and weightloss.

So far I am eating yogurt for breakfast which seems perfectly normal, soup for lunch and dinner and yogurt milk or jelly for snacks. So far it seems easy to appear 'normal'

I am less sure how I an going to explain eating mushy food haha
 
I have permanent stitch today where my band should be. Maybe I pushed it with the pancakes :( self inflicted no sympathy necessary.

My loverly lemon and coriander praws with three bean and cous cous salad with the leafy stuff added too. Sooo yum.

Had a litre of sf squash and copious white tea.
Just walked my two miles, bit faster today and have worn a hole in my trainers!! :) V proud lol

Evening all. Just a quick post. I worked at home today thinking I would finish at a reasonable time and I finished 10 minutes ago:eek:. I am going to arrange to actually do a phased return irrespective of what is happening there because I feel myself sinking fast.

Anyway my intake today:

Actimel
3 cups of coffee drunk throughout the day
1 egg omelette and 3 turkey rashers

Fish sticks with a drop of low fat mayo and sweet chilli dipping sauce with salad

Tonight I am having home made fish pie (white fish, prawns a fish pie sauce not very high in calories and a thin layer of mash on top baked in the oven - had to prepare it in between emails!) with cabbage and a few peas.

Eating so late is not helping. My ankles and legs are even worse today. I am due at my surgery for a BP check up and if my doc is around I am going to ask to see her as this fluid retention makes me feel like I am going backwards. I can barely walk.

Sorry to be so gloomy - although I am not reaching for food as a comfort despite the stress - something is working:D.

Breakfast : Two weetabix with soya milk
Lunch : Bowl of french onion soup
Dinner : Bowl of cream of mushroom soup

Snacks : 1mini roll and 1 time out biscuit

Drinks : 3 cups of tea and 1 liter of water
 
Hi guys, just catching up while watching the biggest loser. My tooth is sore after my filling :( but is putting me off eating :) I'm such a div, was making some soup ready for tomorrow and put it in the blender, I looked for the small measuring cap but couldn't find it so set the blender away. It promptly leaked everywhere, I'd left the cap in the blender where it broke the blades and split the jug. Ach well, looks like a visit to tesco is in order.

TB I think the phasing back to work is a good idea, you don't want to make yourself ill again.

Thanks Sarah but I am 1lb below my "goal" hence my target badge, just working my way towards my new personal goal but Im not that fussed about reaching it. To get to a healthy BMI was the most important thing for me.

finished my salad and had a bag of quavers

Afternoon snack was three shortbread fingers

Working late and tummy was growling dreadfully so had low fat rasp activia

Tea was left over beef casserole and a bit of mash followed by ice cream :( it's make your own on a wednesday and as I'd worked till late cba to cook.

It's prob all taken me way over the cal limit for the day and I feel bloated prob side effect of the dreaded pancakes.
Have been quite uncomf today, regretting the indulgance.

Abso shattered today so going to cut it short if that's alright with everyone.
