BANDERS UNITE ! Get to know each other chatter !

Eggs have always been dodgy for me, I can sometimes manage a poached or dry fried but have to be ultra careful. Scrambled, even soft scrambled and omlettes usually are not worth the hassle though unfortunately.
Sausages do get stuck sometimes for me but I tend to take extra tiny bites as I love them!

I cant tolerate any form of egg...and same for me with sausages.... Rice/pasta/sliced ham/bread & rolls ( except for linseed and burgen bread) is a no no for me also............But tbh I not missed any of them ....I have found my taste buds have changed - I love hummus/brussel sprouts and all seafoods which I couldnt stand before....The mind boggles lmao

Well done Neen on your loss.

I love sausages but have not tried them post op. I am making Mr TB toad in the hole later. I am finding just the smell of them cooking puts me off.

My tummy feels a lot better today but I have some lovely bruising around my port area:rolleyes:. I hope my experience of my fill does not put people off. I suspect my padding is causing the issue. Hopefully as I lose weight it will get less traumatic:D.

I'm sure it won't be the norm TB , just really unlucky on top of all the other stuff you have going on at the moment.
I hope you and Mr TB have a lovely time this weekend and enjoy a bit of the spring sunshine.
I am determined to make more effort with exercise this week to get back in line with my ticker as soon as possible. I put nearly two stone on at Christmas and I have about a half a stone left of my regain to go before I can go back to my lowest weight.
I am really tired of seeing 16 something on the wii fit.. :(

Neen I'm with you on the exercise front, I must try harder next week. I'm desperate to see 15st on the scales, but we will do it.

Isn't it odd that eggs stick, my surgeon suggested I try them hard boiled rather than scrambled, which I will give a go.

Hope everyone's having a fab weekend x

Im fine with eggs - any way they are cooked. I dont eat meat so dont know about sausages other than quorn and they are fine if chewed.

BD I have an image of you dipping your sprouts in hummous but Im sure you dont actually eat them together!

Hi everyone

Pleased to say I have lost 4lbs since my fill on Wednesday. Needless to say I am very pleased with that result!

Feeling a little better today. I promised to have my wee granddaughter this afternoon, when I finished work at as its my sons birthday. Amazing to think that he is now 35!
Little one is staying overnight and currently asleep in my bed. Have to transfer her to the travel cot later - as she refused to go down in it for me. Did`nt think they were so stroppy at 15 months - it was the terrible twos I was worrying about! Anyway I tired her and me out at the park this afternoon as well as Oscar our westie.

Today I had slimfast for breakfast and 2 clementines.
Forgot lunch as the little one took over. Remembered a couple of hours later and had a special K cereal bar.

For supper had a very small bowl with 1 tblsp rice and same amount of chicken tikka. Ken loves his curries and decided as I did`nt know what to have myself, I would chance it. Left a bit as I was soon very full!

Weeble - well done on your weight loss - excellent start honey x

Neen - you were really panicking mid-week about weighing too early; told you not to worry! Well done hun x

Well done everyone who was weighing in today - I hope the results were all what you wanted!

Not on for too long as its been a really long day. Sorry to ramble on so xxx

Love Kat x

Morning all. Who stole the spring and sunshine? Feels like winter again here today. I was going to take a stroll around the park too. Hope it brightens up later.

Enjoy the day all.

Morning girls x Going to be a bit of a couch potato most of the day, It's really sunny here but my youngest kicked me in the face yesterday during a meltdown and I have had a bad neck and shoulder since and also right knee is painful and my left ankle keeps giving out without warning.
Going to ease back into walking gently tomorrow then try for treadmill twice a day next week to see if I can speed things up a bit.

Oh gosh Neen are you ok? That sounds nasty. You know I was thinking about the post you made last night and to have almost shifted what you put on at Christmas is amazing. You are really doing well. Take it easy and rest today.

I am just about to start doing some stuff for work which unfortunately I have to do. It is probably going to take the rest of the afternoon. Might take a walk around the park later for my exercise even though the weather does not look too promising. Mr TB is not good today so he is still in bed. Might get him out with me if he feels up to it.

I'm achey ! But he's allright today. He still has a flare up fairly regularly but is getting better overall.
I am still mourning the whole of last year..I basically wasted it with regains back and forth and feel foolish about it.
However, that and our thread gang making an effort in spite of everything has made me feel sort of grimly determined to lose all my excess and get all of my 16 stone excess off. Just to show banders can do anything anyone else can.( and to have a nice neat botty :D)

Hey TB, I was just thinking, I have some exercise dvds called "walk away the pounds" where you basically walk, march , kick on the spot for different distances .
If you want I can send links for you to try them out xx

Cool that would be great. Thanks:).

I did try to get Step to the Beat for the wii after you recommended it but it is no longer being produced which is a shame as it looked fun.

Afternoon girls :)
The losses this week have been great :) neen I hope you do manage to have some
Rest today,
The sun is finally showing it's face after a dull start, I worked all day and night yesterday and the weather was beautiful and I was stuck in :-( .... Lilman has a party to go to at 2 so most of the afternoon will be spent around hoards of kids and food lol.

Yesterday I binged big time I don't binge often and I think it was due to boredom and frustration, I ate and ate an ate, then you get into the whole self loathing cycle ggrrrrr.

Anyway enough babble, have a wonderful Sunday, I think im going to take be dog for a lil mooch round the block xxx

I can always send you my copy TB
I will dig out some links for you in a few for the walking workout as wellx

Thanks Piratess! Don't worry about the splurge. Having one designated splurge day a week has really helped me stick to things the rest of the time.
Just have a treat ready (or go get it on the day) and til then use the anti binge tuna tip and sugar free jelly/ chewing gum etc to help avoid unwanted foods during the week.
Get the party out of the way and start with us again tomorrow xxxxxx
You can do it hun, we can help you keep it under control.
I had pringles and ice cream yesterday for my treats and they were OK but not fantastic...but thinking I was allowed them on a Saturday without guilt, really helped hugely in stopping any midweek binges.

Afternoon folks!
I foolishly soaked some bread in my soup and thought it would go down! It did but not without giving me pain and a jolt that there really is a band in place!!

Work tomorrow ;( but routine will do me good!

With the help from my new family - 2011 will be great (yes that's all of you) :) xx
