Good afternoon ladies,
you have been busy today jenn, i shall look at your links shortly...... I see what your saying if you already consume so little..may be worth asking? I do kinda eat like a pig at times hence the size i am.
I've been into birmingham xmas shopping, with hubby and son, as hubby has day off..what fun!! Not too much to get now, costly time of year with 4 children..worse the older they get too as they want consoles and phones ipods etc...my 2 year old is the easiest to buy bless him, he's in love with peppa pig.
It's the support group meeting tonight at heartlands so i'm looking forward to that..be nice to meet some peeps off this site and there is a plastic surgeon coming for a talk, be intersting to hear what he has to say.....i think my arms will be my bug bear i will have to wear support bandages on them in the summer i think!.....as i am going to lose soo much weight with the help of you lovely ladies xxx
Afternoon ladies. Just back from walking the dog. Just a tip that was given to me at the hospital after being banded. If you get food stuck - a small glass of diet coke drunk fairly quickly will do the trick. The surgeon did say however to drink it whilst in the bathroom as the effects can sometimes be quite spectacular!! I know this to be true as have used this when I've got chicken stuck. I don't eat chicken breast now only chicken thigh and only very small mouthfulls chewed to mush!!
FFBB,
I think the milk is just about sustaining you so you'll have a drastic loss put will peter out.
I think when you're eating proper food it will be better for you. Also you'll have the boost of exercise ;-)
Also weight loss happens in fits and spurts. On Cambridge Diet yo're on about 450/500 kCals per day and people still lose - but they have ALL nutrients provided by the soup/shake packs. So don't lose hope just yet... x
i'm really goin to have to concentrate when i have my band i hardly chew..it's in my mouth and down my throat before i know it. I tried the paul mckenna idea of chewing 20 times before but by the 20 times it had all gone!! I shall have to start practising i think!Afternoon ladies. Just back from walking the dog. I am sure you will hun!
Don't get me wrong I am not perfect. I am disciplined, but I do have my times where I eat more than I should, cuz I like it But it is a rare thing. I am HUGE, I am aware that my problems got worse with PG and then then just as I was losing after the first I got PG with the second, and this is the lightest i have been since giving birth to my son almost 18 months ago. It just seems that no matter what I do, I just can't shift it.
I will ask the dietician next week, what she thinks, but I reckon they are just going to think it is a load of old guff and not bother. I haven't even got any idea what they found out from the blood tests, or even what exactly they were looking for. I know the since I have mild PCOS, that it can be more difficult to lose weight, but Christ....I am eating NOTHING....only drinking water and milk only, having my 1 A-Z and 1/2 tsp of salt dissolved in some water for a salt shot, that I apparently need to have. I am exercising as I normally would...not over doing it. Just my normal walks everyday, that I was doing prior to starting. So I really am at a loss as to what I can do/should do.
Obviously I will do my best between now and when I have surgery, to lose what I can, still exercise,do my work, look after the kids and etc......watch my portion sizes, drink plenty of water, only eat when I am hungry, stop just before I feel full, and not eat after 6:30pm. Other than that...I am not too sure if there is anymore I can do.....I feel....umm......not sure how i feel....weird.....
*LOL* yeah I think you'll have to think that one through!
