Cheers hun, as I said above a bit, the slimfast is saving me from doing the biscuit tin over as I just go rampant after tea...even if I am really full.
It's part comfort eating/part habit/part greedy...but if it stops me from eating too much this week I have to try. I am still really down about last year and the Christmas over a stone regain.
I am just trying different solutions till I find the one that deals with my particular problem x

I was exactly the same, we have probably discussed this before but for me it was boredom - I wasnt hungry, I couldnt be after my huge evening meals but pick, pick, pick I did :eek:

Its the hardest habbit ever to get over, well that and the emotional eating. So I really hope this works for you ;)

What ever I can do in even a tiny, teeny way to help you, ever - you know where I am x x x

Awesome! I am so glad ...hope your blender can cope with the ice..I sometimes think mine is going to explodinate :D
You could add a teaspoon of your fave instant coffee to it as well, and or a sugar free falvour syrup.
I use those with the vanilla one and get all sorts of thick shake cocktails. Was good in the summer especially :D

Today's run down is as follows:
100ml Apple Juice - 50
4 crackerbreads with Philly extra light and cucumber - 136
100 g cottage cheese with 25g smoked salmon (lovely) - 123
20g cashew nuts - 126
Salmon fillet 225 with cauliflower, 50g boiled potato - 40 and dill sauce - 50
2 choccy digestives - 168
Total - 918 plus milk in 4 coffees so probably around a 1000 cals today.
Still no exercise!!!

I am out tomorrow night so prob won't get a chance to record my cals for tomorrow at all. I am going to a works party and there is a free bar so I may have to have a wee tipple but as it will be the first time I've had any alcohol this year I'll be very very careful! If any of you have any alcohol what do you normally go for to be a 'healthier' choice. I used to drink Vodka and Slimline Tonic and I know this would be lo-cal but do you think the tonic water would be too fizzy?

When is everyone planning on weighing in this week?

This was such a good idea and I think has definitely helped me stay on track this week. x

I was really loathe to fork out for a huge tin but thinking now maybe it's worth it.
Me and my daughter have a full glass each :)

Thanks hun xx I eat out of anxiety mainly, having lots of kid related problems and I just eat eat eat them away temporarily.
The slimfast is like my ice cream substitute...I can be good all day then blast it all to heck at night, but so far so good this week.
You have helped me a lot hun! I point everyone at your tips because it's so handy to know what to have..and the melba toasts are fab, that's one of yours I beleive :D
 
Hey Mel x I am going to try and hold out til Saturday morning as it's my treat day :D
I am bad with alcohol :( Baileys and beer so lucky I don't have any unless it's xmas or something ...I think wine spritzers with 0 cal mixers and small spirits with 0 cal mixers...but you get drunk quicker I think so be careful not to compromise yourself!

I did my two mile walk today, forgot to mention that earlier.

Going out tomorrow lunchtime for a meal with work. I have ordered plaice and veg, plaice is grilled, so hoping bandy is playing nice tomorrow and not too tight (I get a bit nervous in new environments and not been to this place before)
 
Good luck with your lunch tomorrow - sounds like you've chosen sensibly. The cottage cheese and smoked salmon is gorgeous! I get the cheaper salmon flakes that they sell in the supermarkets (I think in Sainsbury's it's only £1 for the economy version) and then I mix it with c cheese or it's really really nice with scrambled eggs too. It feels like a little bit of luxury even though it's quite cheap!

I'll weigh in Sat morning too and try not to overdo it tomorrow night and undo all my efforts for the week! Neen, I love Bailey's too, especially with loads of ice, mmmm (but so naughty!)

Evening all. Due to dealing with work stuff lunch was at 4.30 - as per yesterday fish sticks and salad and 2 satsumas. I have just had at about 9.15 chicken, prawns, mushrooms and other veg stir fry - no sauce just added some seasonings and a little Worcestershire sauce. Very full so will not need anything else. I am really tired and still need to finish off stuff for the meeting in the morning:cry:.

Oooo are they Neen? I'll give them a try, what aisle are they in (our tesco is huge and I'll spend an hour looking for them!).

Today is my weigh in, I now weigh 16 and a half stone, however I can't remember what I weighed last week so don't know if I've lost (I'm a div!!). Will update my ticker and then figure it out :)



Stayed the same, harhum :/ I know I didn't get the exercise I should have this week and I'm eating more, but still a little disappointed. Oh well, todays a new day!
