I don't often worry about it, I worry much more about my appetite. My restriction is pretty consistent, but it can surprise me at times - especially with meat and dry food.

I am the same, some days my pouch is so much tighter than others. Today was a very tight day, my lunch caused me immense amounts of discomfort!! ? x

With me, it depends on what I'm eating. Wetter things I can usually eat more of. But saying that, one day I'm ok with something, the next a couple if mouthfuls and I'm full.

This is what it is like for me some days. I totally can overestimate my capacity. And in all honesty some days I struggle so much to leave food on my plate.

I still have such a psychological problem with leaving food on my plate. If I eat out I have to remove food off the plate before I start eating!

Sometimes my hubby puts it on a small dinner plate which is bigger than a tea plate, panic sets in I have to visualise if it would be the right size for my tea plate, but blike has been said earlier dry stuff like meet etc fill u straight up wetter food we can eat more of xx

Lol, my hubby does that too! Especially with roasts etc. I can get really unstuck when he does it. Portion size is something I still dont really recognise. Its like there is a mental block, haha.
The other thing my husband forget is 'drink before food not food before drink', and I get presented with a coffee right after dinner, lol. Bless him.

I understand so much of this. Drinking after meals is something I struggle with. I had to drink whilst eating when I was taking antibiotics and now finding it hard to stop. I know it's a big no no. Must stop myself. I'm feeling disappointed in myself this week. I didn't diet at all at Thorpe park yesterday and I did a sneaky weigh in this morning. Not lost any weight this week and it's my first week at SW. I think I will feel disappointed if I don't lose any or put on for my first week!

I definitely find this harder now than at any other stage. Body image wise and food wise.

I also struggle with leaving food on my plate. A huge deal when I was growing up. I now put it on my Mum's plate when I can or feed the dog which is bad because they are both putting on weight :/

Yeah this is where the hard work really starts Shelley. No one said it was guna be easy. Its anything but, my head takes over still wants something but can't manage it then its wasted, waste of money, my bin is always full of food these days I try and make a lot less now but hubby hasn't got in the swing of it still makes too much n once its on my plate its a turn off. When I feel full now I stop even though it bugs me. It varies form day to day how much we can eat. xxx

I have to give it to my daughter or my OH. Or just leave the table. But then I will come back to it later if its not vanished :(

Hi all. I need to set myself a target and then will be happy. I wanted to be a 16 and am now a 14-16 but my body image isn't great!
So 12 stone is my aim. I don't want to be chewed up worrying about skin so that's it, regardless if whether it's a 14 or 16. Got weighed today and was 12.6.
My weight hasn't shifted for weeks so I will have to work to get this off rather than maintain.
And I need to exercise.
I like a tea plate to eat off but it's more the snacking I have to control. I need to drink instead of eat as sometimes I am probably thirsty rather than hungry.
I don't want to have been unhappy for years about my weight, to now be unhappy for years about my skin.
Hope everyone is ok.

I hope you don't mind me saying Hun but that's possible not enough protein in today's menu

Of course not! :)

Yes i realised that too so when i got home i had a protein shake (banana flavour whey protein) at around half 7, some nuts and a glass of milk with NAS crusher at around half 9.

X

Thank you, i am trying soo hard but sometimes im not always going to be as angelic as most days. The best part is facing up to the fact that we failed and admitting it rather than hiding away and being in denial.

Thank you for pulling me in, i do appreciate it. ? x
